Good Morning!

Re: Good Morning!

  • So. I feel like a gimp. I fell down the stairs last night and I sprained my big toe, got a huge bruise on my arm and have major rugburn on my knee. I look like my husband beats me. He doesn't, I swear. But it looks like it =(
  • I totally meant to add that Rosie, that guy is a toolbag. And not a sturdy trusty one, no no. A shady weak tool bag with tools missing and holes all in it and stuff. Just in case you're wondering.
  • Rosie, that's what your FI should say.  If his BM calls to reschedule it.

  • Good Morning!

FI and I were super NWR busy this weekend. Taking pictures at Derby Day Race and Festival from 8-12, pictures of track event 12-2, drive 1.5 hours to a friend's graduation party (with his dr. woohoo!), hang out, drive back. It was a great day, but it was exhausting and I really wish the sun would have stayed out. It was freezing without it. Lunch with family for mother's day on Sunday was all we did for that but it was great too.

Now I need to read the thread.

    Thanks guys!

Rosie: BM is a douchelord. I want to kick him in the shins. That's just so rude and inconsiderate to do that for any type of plans, let alone a bachelor party.

Emily: Hope you feel better soon!

LDY: I saw your awesome picture of your arm from the fall. Hope you're not hurting too badly! I fell down the stairs at home last week, when H was gone. I have an awesome bruise on my bum.

LVB: You got this, girl! Deep breaths.

  • I am ready for the weekend already. I also would like to eat my PB sandwich now instead of lunch.

  • I wish I could see your picture :( its blocked at work.

Did you have a lovely shower? I had such a good time at mine. What was served food wise? I love talking about food.

  • Cute shoes, Stacks!

Just take everything one by one, LVB. Aren't you taking a fabulous trip t a fabulous city this weekend? :-)

Bay, I am so happy that you guys decided to take the cruise.

    Yay, Mr Cengle!

    Good Morning!

My weekend was pretty busy but so worth it. Mother's Day started off rocky cause H was upset that he couldn't get me a gift. He hasn't worked since November and around holidays, it really makes him pouty. We talked about it and I think he sees why that doesn't help me at all.

We took my mom to a Mother's Day brunch that was fabulous! She had a great time and that made me so happy. She thinks we should make it a tradition. Sounds good to me cause the food was great and their were no lines. That is always a plus!

  • my bm's made a bunch of little snack foods like mini sandwiches and cookies with flowers and stuff and one of my girls made a phenominal carrot cake.  It was "garden party" theme so they all wore hats or fascinators.  I'll have to show my hat I had to wear when I get some other pictures.

The pic is a delicious dessert with a lovely chocolate penis garnish.  Awesome.

  • Liv, Aquarium for Prom sounds awesome but not watching the outfit choices of high schoolers these days. When I went dress shopping with my friend for her wedding this July, there were tons of girls shopping for prom and I was frightened by their choices.

Even more so when we saw a MOB trying on the same dresses.

<div>That sounds like fun! I'm usually not a fan of dress-up themed b-parties but that is probably b/c I had a traumatizing experience when the bride asked us to dress up in golf attire and no one at the bars got it and we just ended up looking like idiots.  </div><div>
</div><div>BUT the garden party idea seems really cute!! </div>

  • I remember prom dresses were always long.. now they appear to be mostly short. I see no difference between prom and homecoming.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Good Morning! : I seriously felt the urge to chase them and hold up my wrap to cover their butts. If they bent over justalittle you got a free show. I actually used the words, "When I was that age..." and then felt REALLY old. But when did it become common to dress like a street walker for a formal event?! And gross that a MOB would be trying on similar dresses. I would have been horrified.

A friend of my son's went on prom this weekend and I literally had to SHOW her how to get in and out of the car because her dress was so short. She looked cute but the dress was a little much.

  • My prom and homecoming dresses were always long as well. I wish I had a picture of my prom dress. I loved it a lot. It was bright blue with a beaded bodice and dropped waist. I want to wear it again, haha.

  • I ordered chicken nuggets and french fries for lunch. I am totally having a pity party for myself with food.

Next week its serious diet time. Or at least serious shapeware time.
