I googled, and can't find a way to clean my glass pyrex baking dish.
It has some brown spots on it after last time I baked. I re-baked in it thinking the heat would help loosen/remove the stain. No luck.
Advice?
Oh, and Mandy, the cream of mushroom pork came out AWESOME!

Wouldn't it be nice to live together in the kind of world where we belong?
Make a paste of baking soda and water, spread on stains, let sit for awhile.
I haven't tried this but supposedly filling sink with hot water, add a dryer softener sheet, put the dish in and let it soak while you do the rest of your dishes. The dish will be ready to clean easily. This might work, those dryer sheets work for all kinds of odd purposes.

Spray oven cleaner. The brown stuff is supposedly carbon vapors.
In a well ventilated place spray oven cleaner on the dish. Let it sit for a few hours. Then wash the dish. You might want to consider taking the dish outside, putting down some sort of plastic drop cloth (old shower liner works well), spray the dish, let it set. I've also read that you should pray it, put it in a garbage bag, close it securley with twist tie. Let stand overnight, open carefully, keeping your face away from the fumes.
Be careful touching the oven cleaner, you may want to wear rubber gloves for the whole process.
If the dish is exceptionally dirty:
Preheat the oven to 250 degreeds. AFTER cleaner has dried on dish, put it in the oven for 45 minutes. Turn off the oven, let the bake ware cool copmletely.
After it has cooled, rinse the dish and most or all will come off easily. You might need to use a soft scrubby pad to get the last bits.
I forgot about baking soda. That's how I clean my cook top!
SOS pads are also my solution for this. It won't damage the glass.
