• My family scattered at my parents generation mostly. I grew up with my closest relatives 2 hours away and more scattered around the country between mom and dad's sides. I am enjoying getting to know my brothers more as adults. It's fun.
• Oh Tide, that's terrible.
image
• Heh, a huge chunk of J's relatives (J's parents included) live on his grandpa's land.
image
• My sister and I are kind of growing apart as we get older, which is sad. But we lead totally opposite lives and just don't have a ton in common anymore Cry

My youngest brother (the taller, rounder one) has been on a roll this year with his health too and I'm so proud of him. That picture was taken in April and since then he's lost about 30 lbs of fat. I love that he is being so good about watching his sweets since he's only 15 so it is kind of hard at that age to be good about it.

ETA: Not that is necessarily easy at any age, but teens seem to be notorious for eating junk food all the time.

• Aw that is a bummer Anna. :( How old is she?
image
• Megbo - Congrats on finishing finals. That is the best feeling. Now you can enjoy your holiday.

My brother is 10 years older than me and the last time I talked to him was when I saw him in July. It had been over 2 years before that.

I am jealous that FI's family is so close to each other. I really enjoy being around them and that is part of the reason.

It's the same with my sister and I, too. Add to that the fact that she and her BF aren't kid friendly, and we pretty much never see them.
Holy Crap. We survived the first year!

• I get along pretty well with my sisters, but when we spend too much time together we fight over stupid things. I guess not much has changed since we were growing up.

Hello ladies.
I wish I had some Crown right now, but I only have my vodka lemonade to drink right now.

My family is spread out and I am not very close to my sister. We had a major falling out in high school.

• mmmmmm...vodka lemonaide...

That's no slouch either.
• My brothers and I don't really have much reason to fight. The most we ever bicker is when we disagree about something sports-related. haha. That is really about it. J fights with them more now than I do, since they are all so close and being boys just have more in common to argue about. Which is funny since I used to get in fights with them ALL THE TIME when I was younger. But that was more just because they were little kids and I was a teenager that wanted them out of my life.

• And, why is my text centering itself?

Fezz - everyone's doing really good. The twins are sitting up and playing with each other. They've started solid foods and LOVE graham crackers. Taryn is so big, and growing up so fast. She's a great big sis. We drove out to see KW and Kaylee a few days ago. It was a 2 hour drive and when everyone wasn't sleeping, she was holding onto the twin's hands and making them LOL.

• Musical, she's two years younger than me, so 23. We were close growing up because we were always together when we went back and forth between our parents houses every week and I drove her everywhere. We still have fun when we hang out but I never call her because I just don't know what to talk to her about.
• My sister and I are actually getting closer. Amazingly. We grew up so differently even though we were in the same house. She's three years older than me so that made it hard to be close growing up. She was a senior in HS when I was a feshman.

My family scattered at my generation. Most of my cousins moved away from home. Actually my brother, sister, and two cousins are the only ones up in Cleveland out of 14 of us.

• My only sibling is a Yorkie, so i'm a little left out in this thread.

I'll just sit over here and drink.

and try not to typo too much.
• Hey Megs. Vodka lemonade sounds pretty good.

I really don't like drinks where I taste the liquor too much. I'm not a very big drinker. I like my fruity drinks.

• I'm so glad everyone is good, Tide! I can't believe the twins are 7 months old and Taryn is 2 already, is she talking a lot yet?

• Oh ok Anna. That is too bad. :( I've always been a little jealous of sister bonds but at the same time I love the bonds that my brothers and I have now too. They won't say it much, but I know they are protective of me which I think is really cute.

• I went away to school (8 hours) and have never really moved back. This will be the first year I haven't gone back for at least part of Christmas. We usually go up Christmas day and stay for a few days to visit.
• Evening ladies! Was a busy day at work and only going to get busier tomorrow and Saturday.

bahaha....typos are my worst fear with KUI. It's like they're a give away when KUI.

I'm drinking this right now:

http://www.trumpwinery.com/scripts/winepg.cfm/_/1/Cru/

It's a brandy infused wine. You can mix it like liquor. OMG it's amazing. I've got to get more of it.

• Tide I love your kids.

MyUserName1 (do you have a nickname yet? MUN?) I am an only child too :( So I haven't any ideas about age differences.

FI is the oldest of 3 boys. The middle one hated the youngest (who was a PRECIOUS baby but was scared of the middle's toys so they got taken away....) until he went to college and was like, hey he's not that bad.
• Apparently I'm EIC tonight. Her avatar was mine for a sec. For the longest time I thought her shoes were bananas.

• So my MOH called me last night on the way to work. He asked me what I wanted to do for my Bachelorette party next week. I said I was pretty flexible and said that I was sure he and my BMs knew me well enough to know what I wouldn't like. He goes "So... no body shots off male strippers then?" haha.

Yeah...

She practically speaks in whole sentences. She quickly figured out that PEAS and TANK EWW usually get you what you want, like cookies and soda (at least when you're talking to daddy) so she uses them all the time. now.

(In his defense, M doesn't actually give her soda - he allowed her to have a couple sips a few times. BUT, she knows what the cans look like and will pick them up if you leave them out.

She used to walk up to us, holding a half empty can and say, "Soda peas, Momma. SO-DA." We told her no so many times that if she finds a can left out, she doesn't ask permission; she'll bring you the (now) empty can and say, "Tank eww, Mommy, soda. Tank eww."

She sings her ABCs (she KNOWS them, but can't articulate the entire song, yet, so it sounds more like "ABshehumhumeffG...humhumummmOOPEEE.humhumhum..DOUBLEYOU. Exits.nZ"

And she can count to 5 on a pretty consistant basis, especially if she's walking down the steps she shouldn't have been on in the first place.
