Tide I love your kids. MyUserName1 (do you have a nickname yet? MUN?) I am an only child too :( So I haven't any ideas about age differences. FI is the oldest of 3 boys.  The middle one hated the youngest (who was a PRECIOUS baby but was scared of the middle's toys so they got taken away....) until he went to college and was like, hey he's not that bad.

    Posted by mkrupar
Haha a bachelorette party that I'm sure he (my MOH) would enjoy, lol. I'm kind of a stick in the mud since I don't drink though so I think they are trying to figure out something to do where THEY all will drink but I will still have fun, lol. Which I really would have fun doing anything as long as alcohol or naked people aren't forced upon me.

Haha I totally need to order more. We got it at a wine tasing last June at it is amazeballs. I like to mix it with white cranberry juice. However, since I don't have any of that, it's currently being mixed with pineapple juice.
    it's fucking awesome!!

MuSu I didn't even have a bach party, you know, vow renewal and all. If I did, drinking and strippers probably wouldn't have been on the menu.

  • Hi Ladies..

I wish I was drinking right now.   Maybe I should open some wine.. umm.

Hi Tide and Mrs B.  Do not see you this time of night every often, just want to say your kids are so cute..

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

Yeah MK I've never really been one for crazy drinking. I mean, I had a few years of it but in the past year or so I've just sort of totally cut it out of my life. But I'm pretty sure I still can be fun. I think, maybe.

Agree.  Good for your family, K, to make the most of every moment and not let things come between you.

Thank you, Lynda!  I've got a long, slow night at work tonight, so, I'll probably be here for a little while.  Except for now - I have to take Trooper back to his kennel.

I do belive it is a Virginia winery.

  • Rachers is back!!!!!!!

The Cru wine mixed with pineapple tastes like buttescotch.

  • I want to go to wineries more. I did it for my bachelorette but I should do it sometime with my H.
  • Ha MuSu - no, I don't miss WI.  I miss some of the people in Wisconsin, but that's it.

MK - sounds yummy.  My uncle had wine at Thanksgiving that was called Layer Cake.  it was quite tasty.

    <div>okay, okay, I'm jealous enough already!</div>
  • I wouldn't miss it much either Loops. I'm close enough to the cities/civilization that I'm ok with it for now.

  • Layer Cake wine is really good. I tasted some a couple weeks ago when they had a wine tasting at the store I work at.

ummm if we move to Front Royal, there are wineries like stones throw from our house. I *think* we can make winery tours a regular thing. Please!!

Rachers, this stuff is amazing. It's not too sweet if you drink it alone, which you can totally do. When I mix it with white cranberry juice it makes it tart, which is awesome.  I can't do super sweet drinks either.
    image
  • Yeah, MK, I really want you to move out there. It's such a nice area but I don't really have any reasons to go out there right now. I also want to go out to the Shenandoah Valley to go hiking sometime.
  • Thanks, lynda!  =-)

  • Thanks for the love guys.  It's definitely the worst thing I've ever had to go through, but the Army was really great to us, and we had a lot of good friends to lean on for support.
