Shiiiit.  I just got a memo from the bishop.  One of our former pastors (before I worked here, so he was never my boss, but he WAS my priest) was arrested for possession of child pornography yesterday.  WTF.

We registered for a Keurig. FI doesn't drink coffee at all and I only drink the kind that doesn't taste like coffee occasionally. That way we can at least offer people coffee if they come over and I love hot chocolate.

I don't like chocolate or most teas, I'm weird like that. H likes chocolate though just doesn't really drink much hot chocolate. I drink hot apple cider like it's going out of style in the fall/winter though. It will be put to use.

Good Morning everyone! Hoping for a better day today, I spent all day yesterday covering emails for annoying CW, it's amazing to me how behind she seems to get.

H and I are going to see the fireworks tomorrow, I am hoping to be off tomorrow.

Finally heard from my photographer, the CD of my pictures will be ready by next week, then we get to the pick the prints that we want.

If you don't think you'll use it much you could always return it.  It does take up counter space.  But honestly I love all the drinks that they make for it.  The hot chocolate k-cups are delicious as well (especially mixed with Bailey's).  They make a ton of iced tea ones now too that I haven't tried yet.  And if your H doesn't drink a ton of coffee but still drinks some then it is nice to have because you aren't making full pots for one cup here and there.

I absolutely love our keurig, and it's fantastic when it's just me.  We wanted one because I have to drink coffee everyday, and H would only ever drink one cup every once in a while.  Of course now that we have the keurig he drinks at least 2 cups a day (when he's home).  So really it's not the most cost effective, but we order the k-cups online and save a ton of money that way.  

Oh, make sure you register your keurig online and you'll get a code to buy 2 boxes and get 2 free.  It's way cheaper to order them from their website than in stores.  However my BB&B had hot cocoa and apple cider k-cups on clearance for $4.99 right now.

They do sell cider!  I've seen it sold at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and I think Target too.

Morning Ladies!
I am so not motivated to work today; I don't have much to do except some data entry stuff and then training this afternoon and I'm just not feeling it today.  All I want to do is get through the day so I can sleep in tomorrow and hang out.  We're going to hang out with some friends, bbq, hang at the pool, and watch some fireworks.  Should be fun.

Bay, that's so funny. I was playing with Dory on the floor, flicked her toy across the kitchen, and she ended up running full speed, head first into the cabinet. I couldn't hear the noise though, because I could only hear the involuntary, "OOOOHHHHH!" I was shouting. She was fine. ETA: oh no, the "that's so funny" was about the cat comment, not the most recent one!

It's just...disgusting.  We had heard he was under investigation, but it was this whole "innocent until proven guilty thing" and investigation certainly isn't the same as an arrest.  But I guess they found enough evidence to arrest him on.  It's so weird.  When he was here, everyone joked about how much he hated children.  He was definitely not a child-friendly priest.  He was always really uncomfortable around them.  If I had to pick a priest who was least likely to be abusing children, it would have been him.  Guess you never quite know.

Thanks for all the info Beachy! I had already suggested returning it but H wants to keep it for the reason you mentioned about not wasting pots of coffee. I will for sure register the Keurig, that's a pretty sweet deal.

Bay, he probably felt uncomfortable around children because he didn't want to be tempted to act on his desires or something. Not that having child pornography is any better, obviously.

I actually found out over the weekend that a kid I knew in high school was busted for child pornography, but the whole thing was kept really quiet, it didn't even make the papers for some reason.

Good morning.  H got up early and took the dog for a hike.  I am eating some breakfast before heading to work.  Can I tell you how nice it is not to have to feed the dog and take her out before I can leave?

So there's this lady I work with that we fondly call Pebbles.  Mainly because she's dumb, and calling her dumber than a box of rocks would be an insult to rocks.  I kid you not.

She just sent us a chain mail email about not turning on the AC in the car right when you get in because it supposedly releases benzene in the air.  Well, right at the bottom of the email is the snopes link which states the whole thing is false.

I kind of want to point that out to her, but I just...can't...

My Mom has sent me that exact same email.  She is not what you would call internet savvy and I've tried to introduce her to snopes to verify these stupid chain emails to no avail.  She just keeps sending them and I just keep deleting them.  I tried a few times to reply back when they were false, with the snopes.com link but it didn't seem to have an effect.

Good morning everyone. It's been a weird couple of weeks in my neck of the woods...I'm glad to have tomorrow off. Mari and Midge- we're supposed to get our wedding pics back either today or tomorrow, hopefully! Part of me is excited, the other part of me doesn't really want to see them, because I hated how I looked in all of the ones I've seen so far. I'm excited to see pics of DH and all our friends though! Bay- that's horrible. :-/

Yeah I know what you mean, there were some pics she sent with our preview and that were awful. I don't know why they thought those pics were a good idea, like our behinds...both H and I are not small people, my butt looked huge!

Haha, yeah, there's a pic that a friend of DH took, while my brother was giving me away, so I still had my back turned to the guests. It looks like my butt is taking up the whole aisle, and pressing in on some of the people in the front row! I know that it's just the angle, but oh god, the tears when I saw it.....

ETA- Midge-thank you, I hope so as well. If nothing else, I will have the good memories of the day to look back on. :) our package came with 4 prints, so I'm excited to have so pictures up on these bare walls!!!
