Come on up! Pilot Mountain aka Mt Pilot was the setting for some of the show, Downtown Mount Airy was the setting for the remainder. We also have Cousin Gary's (they have better food than Aunt Bea's).

It's a great place to live!

I just had a mini twix for breakfast.  I'm trying to hold out for noon to eat my lunch.  I still haven't given up hope that we'll get to go home early.

Hmm I really hadn't thought about them letting us go here early at all.

I have tuna salad for lunch. I might be TOTALLY CRAZY and put a little bit of dressing on my salad. WATCH OUT.

I just have a sandwich, pasta salad (really delicious pasta salad) and jell-o today. I am also hoping we get to leave early today. We never know until that minute around here though.

I brought a Lean Gourmet Beef and Peppers, and some pineapple for a dessert.

I have a Healthy Choice meal.  Yesterday I went way too long between meals and by the time I got home I was hungry, but it was 9 PM.  Trying to avoid that today.

I brought some leftover pasta I had made with some carnitas that we had leftover and a spicy sauce with lots of veggies.  It's actually pretty tasty.

I'm hungry now though... still 40 more minutes...

Aside from the Andy Griffith stuff we have a ton of vineyards around here and a great little B&B in Pilot Mountain. And, Hot Nights and Cool Cars the first Friday night in Pilot Mountain where people bring classic cars.
