Re: Le ghost town E...

• Boo... the biscuits are a little crumbly, not chewy.
• :(

What recipe did you use? I always do a yeasty bread and do at least three rises so the dough is fluffy.
• I have having way too much fun boxing on my Kinect.

Ha! So true. You never need a good reason for Monkey Bread.

• Mica - this is the title of an email I had this morning:
Adopt StellaBelle the Chihuahua/Min Pin-mix in Chicago
It made me giggle.

I didn't have any yeast, and the stores were closed today, so I made this: http://www.joyofbaking.com/Biscuits.html

I think it was my fault though. Maybe I didn't mix the dough up enouch or it didn't have enough milk. Hrm.
• Time for me to use my new Christmas cookie cutters & bake my sugar cookies. The peppermint bark was a pita to cut. My freaking hand is sore. It said to break, but it was too hard and if I left it set out for too long it started to melt in my hands.

I wonder if the dog likes shoes, telling people she's a lawyer, asking a lot of wedding-related questions, and switching identities frequently.

Don't overmix! That makes the biscuit more crumbly/dry.

I'm sure it's still tasty. What's not to love about melted butter and cinnamon sugar?
• I think it's her, she's come to Chicago to hunt me down. Her new identity is a chihuahua!

Yeah, they were still tasty. Not sure what I did wrong though. :(

• Joining in late, because we totally slept in. I could totally get used to this not working thing (took a bunch of time off before I start my new job on 1/4 since my old manager was being a jerkwad). No real plans for today. Need to head to the store at some point to get the rest of stuff for our xmas dinner. Now I'm drinking coffee made with my new milk frother while FI plays xbox. Although I'm annoyed, because we just got an email with our realtor saying we may not be able to close next week on the 30th after all. After I had just got done doing a bunch of work to schedule movers for the 31st. Arrg!
