I have to say that he is not my favorite...I liked him in Saving Private Ryan and Forrest Gump, but I honestly think he gets more credit than he should for most of the movies he has done recently.

@waltzingmatilda: I really enjoyed the first four books of harry potter and got part through the 5th and have never finished reading them.  I do like the movies though I again haven't gotten past the 5th yet...I want to finish reading the books before I see the 6th and before part 1 of 7 comes out

I just read "The Wednesday Letters" it made me cry the whole time...FMIL just read a book she said was really interesting called "The Help"  and "Water for Elephants" are on my book list too...I haven't had too much time to read lately so I'm wayyy behind

NCAA announced yesterday that they are looking into more allegations of Jim Tressel.  He apparently knew about the guys selling the memorabilia, but did not report it to the school.  Now it looks like he told other people, but still did not tell the school.  His intent was to try and put the fire out quickly, but it looks like a cover up.

I'm torn about Tressel...Being a huge fan, I've got to stay with the fact that I hope nothing happens to him...he is "The Vest", but the "rules-follower" in me says he should at least get a pretty harsh punishment...it comes down to recruiting idiots and then protecting their moronic mistakes

HA!  That makes me laugh.

I also love reading about how Woody Hayes was fired after punching a Clemson player.  It's so much funnier, because FI went to Clemson.  I love watching the video of him doing it.

ETA: not laugh because Pearl was fired, but laugh at the way you put it.   Stupid hot dogs!
