Well rules are rules.  And the Big Ten in general, Ohio State in particular, are known for running clean programs.  The word from my friends in Ohio is that they are all for upholding the integrity of the program, but not supporting a coach with controversy.

Oh I agree that if he was doing something shady he should go. I still can't help but feel bad for the players who haven't done anything wrong and the fans.

OK LDYGTR here are my answers to the above questions.  Sorry for threadjaking  JBride :S

1- I don't drink wine, I'm a beer girl (gives me migraines)
2- We met in High School but didn't start dating until college
3- We've been together for 9 years
4- I looove pizza, my favourite is Hawaiian
5- Goldfish centerpieces are a no no - Who wants to watch fish poop?  A friend of a friend had minnows and another friend of a friend ate one... eww
6- Don't have any dogs or cats.  I'm an auntie to a few puppies though!  I don't mind either
7- I love all ladies!  I work with mostly older ladies and we get along really well
8- I'm in my late 20s
9- No opinion on Tom Hanks.  I don't love or dislike him.
10- Wish 1 - To live a long and happy life with my FI
      Wish 2 - Health and Happiness for all my family and Friends
      Wish 3 - To always be as happy as I am right now
11- I may participate in OOTD later today.
12- I absolutely adore french fries... all things potato are my weakness!
13- I don't have any favourites so far as I don't know you enough yet!
14- Jacob x 1000
15- I haven't read Hunger games... yet!
16- I will read Hunger Games (I love to read)
17- I absolutely love Harry Potter...  It's my favourite out of all the series mentioned.

18- Recently read books, I loved the Southern vampire mysteries (True Blood is based on them) but I read them last year.  I love almost everything I’ve read so I’m no help.  Water for Elephants was also amazing.  I read it a long time ago but the movie version is being released soon.

19- I do have an E-Reader, not sure how I ever lived without it!

Yeah, sorry to take over.  I'm a tad bit obsessed with college football.  I went to Purdue, but I grew up in Cincinnati.  So I'm all over the Ohio State stuff.  Plus Purdue has a bit of a rivalry (probably one-sided) with OSU, that has turned into a rather large dislike of them.  Not the people who went there, just when playing them in sports.

Although I don't want to see them be brought down by a scandal.

I love college football too, although I obviously haven't been keeping up (I can't handle ESPN during baseball season.) I was at Florida when we played OSU back to back in the football and basketball championships so I have just a tiny bit of inner bias against OSU sports as well. But like you I hate to see the scandal. I just think of how I would feel if this was happening at Florida and it makes me sad for all the Buckeye fans out there.

Anna - I only really heard about it, because I still watch PTI almost every day.  Like you, I haven't visited ESPN.com in a while, since I don't really have a vested (pun!) interest in the current sports seasons.

LDY - I will choose to ignore your comment on the SEC beating OSU.  It's been a dark time as of late for the Big Ten.

And I love Vandy, one of my good friends went there and I had a blast visiting her. But let's just say she didn't make it into the stadium most game days.

Sometimes I forget that Vandy is even in the SEC. They don't seem to take any sports very seriously, since they don't even have an athletic department. And don't get me started on the fact their basketball coach (who looks just like Kevin from the Office) won SEC Coach of the Year in 2010.  Ridiculous.
