If H's toenails are too long and the touch me when we're laying in bed, I will tell him that he needs to trim his talons before he gets into the bed again.

I recently went like a month between pedicures and they didn't cut my nails down very short, so they were SO long, and it drove me nuts. When I finally had time to go get a new pedi, I was like, "PLEASE CUT THEM SHORT."

I think the lady thought I was nuts.

Any there have been mass killings with shotguns or handguns. In a group of people that large it is good odds that no matter the gun, there would have been a lot of people hurt. Virginia tech dude had a .22 and a .9 mm handgun and killed 32 people.

I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but I really don't think, in this particular example, that he would've been able to hit nearly as many people in a dark theater with smoke using a handgun. For one thing, not nearly as many bullets. I dunno, I just find it funny that in this country, it's totally cool to have a weapon that can kill hundreds of people in a short amount of time, but have a couple ounces of weed and you're off to prison, lol.

And just so no one thinks I'm heading to spun class, my lunch break is over :

I did mention this in the other thread, but the Virginia Tech shooter used two hand guns in that massacre and he still managed to finish off 33 people.

I still say it all depends on who has the guns, not the actual guns themselves.

Are AK and AR something or others assault rifles or no? My dad and my ex both own them for target shooting and I didn't know that was strange.

I'm either barefoot or wear these ratty, but broken in sandals in the house. My shoes and bra are the first things to come off when I get home from anywhere. Personally, the only thing I judge about going barefoot is going barefoot on the street...that's a bit much, but dancing at a reception or at a club? It NMS but I DGAF if someone else chooses to do it.

I should probably add that I love watching the show sons of guns so I am a person with the apparently stupid attraction to novelty guns.

And I don't think .01 is enough of a reason to have them available considering the damage they can do. So let's agree to disagree.

An AR15 is a rifle. FI keeps one in his patrol car and brings it home every day. The AK47 is also a rifle. Technically they could be outlawed as assault rifles. We don't have an AK. According to FI, the AR is a better weapon for law enforcement. They're pretty reliable.
