Re: FFF

  • Other peoples' feet only skeeve me out when they're touching me. Otherwise I don't care. Though, FI insists on cutting his toenails in the shower and that seriously grosses me out for no real reason... it just does.
  • I think this is pretty much the worst FFF ever.

You guys would hate this, when we are in bed reading at night my husband rubs my legs with his feet. I love it. I'm totally not skeeved out even a little bit by feet.
  • H and I once got into a debate over how long it would take to fill one of these bowls we have with nail clippings. It is still an unusettled debate, as we refuse to actually try it. but I still tell him that I'm right.
  • Haha Nebb we actually do the same thing.  Except sometimes his toenails like, gouge me because he waits so long to clip them.  They are like little shards of death.  Or big shards.  I dunno.

  • Oh, I can't believe I didn't think of this until now considering 99% of this thread has been about feet but you remember that girl in my office (from another company just using some of our extra space) who used "V as in vagina" in spelling a site name to client? She walks around the entire office without shoes. Inappropriate times infinity.

When I was getting my hair cut last week, I overheard a very conservative lady talking about 50 Shades. She was going on and on about how fabulous it is, and the stylist finally said something like, "Do you read other erotica, or is this the first one?" The woman was horrified and kept saying, "It is not erotica! It is a novel! I am a good Christian woman, and I would never bring pornography into my house!"

My stylist and I were trying so hard not to laugh. We both ended up doing the silent shakes.

I haven't read them. My English professor said that they were pretty poorly written, but I can't get past the fact that they started as Twilight fan fiction.
  • I don't want to read them for a variety of reasons:

    1. The world is full of free porn.

    2. I heard it's terribly written.

    3. It started off as Twilight crap. Knowing that, I'd picture RP in the scenes, then want to barf.

    4. I get most of my reading material from the library. I prefer not to touch used porn.

Imagine the emotional scarring when they find out what they were named after.  And the additional emotional scarring if they actually read the book.

  • I finally gave in and read them. The writing wasn't as bad as I prepared myself for. That, or I'm not very particular with what I read. Not sure. I've never read that genre either so that might have distracted me. I don't think they were "OMG the best books ever!" but they were alright.

[QUOTE]I read the plot synopsis on Wikipedia and actually got pretty mad. The other women at work talk about how Christian is adorable and he just had a bad childhood so he's a little broken and it's a beautiful journey toward love and how they wish their husbands were more like Christian, blah blah blah. I don't know if being the victim of abuse makes me a little sensitive to this kind of stuff, but it sounds like emotional abuse not kinky sex.
