[QUOTE]Oh, I judge the concept of tenure when there is no real review before you get it.  You survived teaching for 3 years so we should never be able to fire you, really?

    Huh?

In my district there are many, many observations and evaluations that happen in those 3 years.  And if you're not cutting it in year 1 or 2, they can get rid of you.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: I judge : This used to piss me off to no end when I worked at PetSmart. When you buy an animal you sign a contract. I tell you to read said contract front AND back because it has very specific return policies. Do not come back after having broken every bit of your part of the contract and expect your money back or a replacement.

Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and judge people who need a replacement animal. It's a living being - you shouldn't be doing things that cause you to need to replace it!
  • My FMIL was a teacher and their rules were if you weren't fired for 3 years you got tenure, and it wasn't hard not to get fired, you just had to make sure parents didn't get too mad.  It must be different in different places.

  •  I judge my FMIL for trying to over step her boundries in our lives.
