I confess that the state of my house almost constantly grosses me out, yet I'm too lazy to spend any more time cleaning. I'm not sure if it's actually gross by normal standards either, or if it's just that I come from a family of clean freaks and by their standards it's hideous.

Except it put it there automatically and I let my 5 year old play a wedding dress up game with my account. Didn't think it warranted her getting her own TK account because she wanted to play it.
I think part of the cliqueyness, frankly, is the "these newbs are so annoying."  Everyone is a newbie at some point, and to keep reading reg after reg chime in on how bored they are with the board now and how much better things used to be and how annoying all the new people are doesn't really do much to alleviate the cliquey-ness of the place.
I agree.  I can't stand it when people talk about how much better the board used to be.  If you hate it so much, go away.

I confess that I find it ironic that the same people who are complaining about making a big deal of nothing are also still bent out of shape over FFF 2 weeks ago.

My confession is that i have completely lost the ability to deal with issues in my life without asking for advice from people to help me decide what to do. I have always been decisive and it has gotten lost somewhere. Its starting to make me feel like a really huge insecure loser.
In Response to Re: Confessions. : Thank GOD I'm not the only one who noticed this. Also, because of this, I think things just get made into a bigger deal than they really are because you need to defend your friend. See the SaltyPeanut discussion in FFF last week.  No one actually said anything bad about her.
    Posted by wadingmoose
Agreed. It is an internet message board. Not the most important thing in your life. Calm down, everyone.

When a reg gets insulted, people take it as a huge afront, especially if it's a newb or a not-well-like reg who's doing the insulting. See: bbyckes. (Not saying her comment was justified but holyhell, can we stop talking about it?)

While I like having connections with people in a way - like, knowing when they're getting married, seeing them through the planning process, finding out they are pregnant - this board would be so much less dramatic if it was full of strangers passing in the night.
