I love wristets in general.  I actually use one as a wallet in my purse, then I just take it out and carry that if I'm going out somewhere where I don't want to have my huge everyday purse.

I mean, if they love Coach, get them a real bag. If you can't afford it, get them a nicer, cheaper bag, like Guess or something.

FWIW, I personally don't think Coach is overpriced for what it is, but I realize that not everyone wants to pay that much. Which is fine.

This, exactly. I hate carrying a purse unless I have something big to carry in it, and because I usually have my school bag with me anyway.

Mine happens to be Coach, but it's not covered in stupid Cs or anything. It's just tan leather with studs.

Honestly, I trust that most brides know their bridesmaids enough to know what they'd enjoy. If a lot of brides are buying Coach wristlets, it's probably because they know their girls would enjoy them. People don't automatically become absolute morons when weddings are involved, so they must be buying them for a reason. Therefore, I don't think it matters one little bit what I think of them.

I have yet to see someone actually wearing coach logo shoes in person, but I think I would have a really hard time taking them seriously.  I've seen a few pairs on the rack at TJmaxx and they are the fugliest things ever.   You would have to have just epic levels of label whoring + bad taste to want them.

I use my coach wristlet (that I got at an outlet) to hold my camera. I like it for that purpose alone but otherwise, could care less that it was coach and don't really use wristlets all that much. The wristlet goes in my purse and I care it with me, but I rarely use it alone.

As for the actual question, Eh, I need a big purse.  I would never use a wristlet.  If it was given to me I wouldn't be upset, but I probably wouldn't use it.  It would go with all the BM jewelry I never wear.
