I think coach is nice.  I've received a coach wristlet as a BM gift years ago and got good use out of it.  Then again, I use wristlets.

It does come down to knowing your BMs.  If you know they will like em - get em.  If not, get something else.  S'easy.

I got them for my bridesmaids - I got big ones that are more like a clutch. I got them 50% off through a Coach employee, otherwise I would have gotten something else. BM gifts should always be something you know they would use - like a birthday gift. If the girls didn't own and use Coach frequently, I never would have considered them.

I am not a big purse wearer, but own a coach wristlet (no idea when I got it, but it was cheap, outlet I think, and seemed easier to carry than a purse).  I love it.  It's easy, small, and I can wear it anytime.  I wouldn't get them for my BMs (the ones who are the type to wear one already own one, and the others wouldn't use it) but I love mine.  So if I received one for a present I would love it.

the ONLY reason i am leaning towards this is i live close to an outlet mall and i signed up for emails so i can get regularly 20-30% off the outlet prices, and sometimes they have instore coupons which are good on sale and clearance items as well making it much more affortable.
