The girl in my sig pic standing next to me, the one without the tattoos on her arm, had twins early last year and then all of the blood vessels in one her kidneys promptly ruptured. They handed her husband two 3 pound babies and said "So uh, your wife might not make it. Good luck with the kids!"

She made it. But that was terrifying.

I'm not sure if I ever will be. If I don't get ready by 35 I probably won't ever have one. Between the increased risk of problems and increased risk of dying before my child grows up I don't think it's a chance I want to take.

These stories freak me out!  A good friend of mine's H was told "Do you want us to save your wife or the baby?"  How the F do you answer that?  Luckily, they were both ok, but some scary moments.  That poor girl has had a lot of trouble with pregnancy.

I guess it could have ill effects on the baby but I haven't read anything and really haven't researched it because I don't think I could do it anyways.

I always thought 27 would be a good time to have kids. I'm 32. I'll be 33 when Turkeybutt is born. Meh, it was better to wait for the right time/partner anyway.

TMI TMI TMI..........Well I remember I did do some research when I hit 36 weeks (just in case because I was so over pregnancy) and it's risky for the baby.  Walking and sex are the 2 best and safe producers of labor.  The semen is supposed to soften the lining of the water sac.

Eeks.  So FI and I are currently signing an offer on a condo.  I just talked to a real estate agent for 45 minutes.

So flipping scary and exciting at the same time.

Hiiiiiii!  I am home and have wine and am finally in a good mood after a most stressful day.  I kind of feel bad complaining about anything when Ciara is 39 weeks pregnant though.  That has to be worse.

Sometimes i want to sign my life away and actually own the place I live in. Then our water heater breaks and I call my landlord to fix it and he replaces it for free. Then I decide I can rent for a little while longer.

I absolutely hate renting. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if my landlord wasn't such a lazy ass. I would much rather own at this point. Plus my dad is a contractor and can fix lots of things for free if we buy the parts.
