Something H said tonight reminded me of that friend discussion we all had and made  me a little sad. I made a huge dinner to take over there for them in exchange for letting me hold X-Ray. Dad sent me a text saying that they really appreciate it and that we made their day. I told H how good it made me feel that the dad is always SO appreciative. H said that we weren't just being friends, we were going way above and beyond. I disagreed and said we were being true friends, not just aquatitences. I don't think I have any friends that would make me dinner or make my babies things or love them as much as I love my 'nephew'. ::(

I gave an unconventional for a friends second (co-worker) child. I gave her and her husband concert tickets. Tickets to go with us.
