  • I've managed to have the camel in my sig for a month.  No one mentioned it until FISHY had to turn it into something!

It's true.  Everything's always the Fault of Fish.
  • YOU KNOW ME.

Taking something complete normal LIKE A GIRL ON A CAMEL, and making mention of it.

  • I believe the Cincinnati Zoo has an indoor area for the camels. The giraffes have a house, and so do the elephants, so I imagine the camels do, too.

Megan, I hadn't even caught that line. Nice typo.
  • Well, sha! Depends on what's normal for ya! In some places, it's totally norm to not onlyl see a girl on a camel, but to actually trade camels for a girl!

Wait. That's it!  Scott didn't trade enough camels for you, did he?
  • EFF.

    Apparently not!

  • That song makes me think of Mustang Sally "RIIIIDE SALLY RIIIIIDE!"

Then I think about Sally Ride the astronaut.  I remember reading a book about her in elementary school.

    That's all.
  • Dayum girls. You guys really blew this up in the 5 minutes I was driving home from work.

On camels: aren't there terms for camels based on the hump numbers?
On spanking: I don't believe in spanking. I'm a wild hippie.
On biting: WHAT THE F*CK. WHO BITES A KID?

The name Sally reminds me of Charlie Brown's sister who had a huge crush on Linus.

My niece just turned 3. Last year, she went through a phase were she constantly bit people. Aside from the biting, she was/is one of the sweetest kids ever ... she just liked to bite for some reason. And now she's over it.

Sure, the kid may really have some "behavioral problems", but most likely, he's just a 2-year-old that doesn't know any better, because he's a freaking 2-year-old/

Honestly, between this and your other post, I think you're just looking for any excuse possible to justify not liking your brother's FI. We get it: you hate her. For apparently no real reason, just that you want to. Dare I suggest some deep-rooted jealousy over her knowing your brother for less time than your FI, yet she's getting married before you?

ETA: This is what I get for replying after only reading the first 2 pages. Boo, troll, booooooooo!

Yup.  Dromedary = one hump.  Bactrian = two humps.

[QUOTE]First of all I take offense to calling my mother a moron. She is an RN with the highest degree, graduated on the deans list so watch wat u say about my mama or there will be some problems. He has cried before. We've tried all types of discipling. I did spank his hand. I had my 3 month old in my lap I was in the middle of changing her when the situation aroused. Someone else slapped him when he tried to bite my baby in another situation. I will talk to them about this because this is an issue they have been ignoring for a pretty long time. I do think he needs therapy but his dad's side of the family doesnt act any better than he does and he's 2. I know it is a behavior issue that they need to solve.

DOES SHE HAVE A DEGREE IN CHILD BEHAVIORAL MANAGEMENT? NO? DIDN'T THINK SO.

I kept thinking Bacteria?  So not viral?  What?

But Erin, now that MrsB said dromedary, I remember it.  Guess I'm just not around camels enough to keep that knowledge in the forefront of my mind.  The population of camels in New Engand isn't very high.

Too much migraine. I just didn't want to be repetitive. I have my first appointment at the Ft. Worth Baylor Headache Center Jan. 4.

AND I just quit my job. My department head was kind when I talked about it, my supervisor was a biitch and made me feel like scum. But, that's been the last year.

Sorry about the migraine. I know we've chatted about that before.  Progesterone supplements work for me.  ;-)

Sorry about the job, too, but it sounds like it's for the best if the work environment was unhealthy for you.
