Well, my family is from Quebec.  A couple hours from Hull/Gatineau.  Parentals moved here in the early 80s.  Had me.  So I am Albertan.  I grew up in a small town north of Edmonton.  And now I live in Calgary.  Have since I was 18.  With the exception of 1 year when I moved to DEADmonton to be with my husband while he was finishing up school

I am indeed and um... no, not really. I might go if we have people visiting, or to do wine tours and whatnot, but I'm rarely in Niagara (and I've only ever been in winter once and, while it was pretty, it was waaytoocold for my little African ass).

It's a town north west, its not near cold lake   I would tell you but I still have ties to it and it's not that big of a town... internet safety and all t hat.

Barrel Babe - love your pictures!  I take it you barrel race?  I used to ride - hunter/jumper and some dressage.

Mandy - I too have friends that range from their early 30's and into their 60's.  I love the broad range of life experiences.  Some of my favorite people are my patients in their 80's and 90's.

I have heard niagra is overrated. 

I personally am in awe from so much, so I think I'd enjoy it.  However if I hit up the TO area and didn't make it there, I think I'd be more sad about missing out on the cute little shoppes i hear so much about than not seeing the falls.

Yep, no Canuck blood for me.  And no offense taken, we fully know that you have a much better side.  I think the views of the falls are better from our side, but you have way more to do on your side.  And I used to love that we were able to just walk from my friends house across the border and get into your bars.

I so own sensible shoes! I just bought (mostly) flat boots for winter. ANDPLUS, my hiking Chucks are SO sensible.

And Mandy, when you come visit me, we can go. It's only like an hour away. But I refuse to take you up the Tower. It's just not done.
