Is this thing working? Testing.. testing..

Re: Is this thing working? Testing.. testing..

  • It's on like Donkey Kong.
  • I know Loopy, it's just so frustrating. Mica- how can a little square footage stand in the way? I don't get it. I don't get a lot of the ins and outs of house buying though. I know my dad does work on his house without applying for permits. Also- how is your burn? All healed up?

  • Can there be a jello match? I have always wanted to jello wrestle. I will make the jello, you all provide the newbies?

  • I think the rule to posting during all this TK wonkiness seems to be to only start a thread when there are no negative timestamps.

  • Added square footage without a permit can't be counted in the appraisal, but depending on how things look, insurers have the right to refuse to give home insurance for unpermitted stuff.  It might be a huge mess, or it might not be so bad.  I'll see when I visit again tomorrow.
  • Or not to post anything period when there is a negative timestamp showing.

I dont want to admit to that level of defeat yet... But you might have it figured out.

  • The real solution is for TK to get their ish together and fix this. Then we don't have to stand on our heads, drinking a glass of water, while flipping a coin, to post in the right order. That's what it feels like we need to do to post around here.

Jello wrestling = no. Jello shots - Hells yeah!

  • I agree with both of your posts there MK.
  • I confess that I stop patrolling and posting when I see negative time stamps more often than not.  I have to be really interested in a thread to post with negative time stamps.
  • Ugh. My day just got ruined. Someone on fb posted a picture of an animal cruelty victim. I don't know if I want to throw up, cry, throw things, or what. I hate people. I feel sick.
  • Evening ladies. Mica I'm hope they can get it sorted out.

    Daff that is awful!

  • Daff - I was in the mall the other day and there was a pet store with puppies and kitties in glass display cabinets.  I almost cried in the middle of the mall.  So sad.  Just pitiful.

    Hi C!  and Ski!
  • Daff there was one I saw last night that got me crying. Loopy puppymill pets kill me. I always say something to people in the stores about the situation where they come from. I can't keep my animal rights mouth shut sometimes. Fine. Jello shots it is. I have an excellent recipe.

  • I didn't even go into the store.  I couldn't go there.
  • Mst of the pet stores in my area all bring in the animals from the humane society. I haven't seen an actual store that sells animals that aren't from one of the humane societies in the area in years.

  • I love Jello shots....okay, I love any kind of shots!
  • H just got home and I bawled my eyes out on his shoulder. I'm so upset, sad, angry, ugh. And there's NOTHING I can do about it. The poor thing. I wish I'd never seen that, I'll never be able to get that image out of my head.

[QUOTE]Lynda what are you doing now?

<div>Well I'm suppose to be a concierge for a VIP lounge for a luxury hotel (with some supervisory duties when the manager is not there).</div><div>
</div><div> The lounge only has 6-7 employees.  Manager, me and 2  F&B attendants and 2-3 housekeepers.   1 server was out on medical leave, came back then decided she didn't want the job anymore.   Manager is leaving for 10 days. </div><div>
</div><div> So that means I have to pick some attendant shifts and be the supervisor while the manage is gone.</div><div>
</div><div>All while trying to build connections for the concierge position because you know I've been in NOLA for what 3 months?  Guests know more about NOLA than I do <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-embarassed.gif" border="0" alt="Embarassed" title="Embarassed" />  At least I have an excuse to get free stuff from restaurants in order for me to recommend them.</div>

The mall puppy stores all closed. I like to believe I had something to do with it. Ski, i LOVE SHOTS and upstate NY isn't far. Meet halfway and we can do all the shots we want. Let's pick a date for the summer, so we can camp.

I wonder if it was the same one. Horrifying.

Whoever did that should get life in poundmeintheass prison, no parole. Pure evil.
  • Lynda - ultimately, that sounds fun.
  • Nick I am so in.....we are constantly in Alexandria Bay, NY in the summer, ever been to the 1000 islands....great place, great camping, and great shots....woo that is alot of great....I think a TK GTG in the 1000 islands would totally rock!
