Tuesday Evening

Evening! I'm at the salon, sitting under the dryer while the blonde processes. Luckily, they have WiFi so I can knot while I wait. How was everyone's day?

Re: Tuesday Evening

  • Hiya! Thats cool that your salon has wifi. :)

I just got to my night class. Blegh. It is way less appealing after a long day of awesomeness at work. I seriously love my job, and all the people that I work with so far.

  • It's a new salon... well, new to me at least. I hope they do a good job. That's great that you love your job so much! It's always easier to get up in the morning if you like where you're going.

  • I'm working away! I've been looking at a spreadsheet all day and my eyes are going nuts. I need to figure out WTF I'm going to cook for dinner. I've been SO good the past few days with actually cooking and eating three meals a day that I don't want to stop today.

  • Hi ladies!

I'm in a poop-tastic, worrisome mood over what FI wants to be when he grows up. I'm starting to get worried about future career stability. Our wedding is already majorly postponed due to our current inability to save for it anyway, and this just aggravates the situation further.  So that's weighing heavily on my mind lately.
  • I think my mom was making some sort of chicken, so I'll probably just eat that. I'm starving though, and I won't be home for a few hours.

  • Quick run in and out, I'm off to the gym.  It's been a hell of a day but I figure that a workout will help, and at least then I'll be doing something other that sitting in bed watching Netflix and eating Smartfood (as appealing as that sounds).

    Back later!

I'm watching "Some Kind of Wonderful" on TV. It's not one of John Hughes' more popular movies, but it's definitely one of my favorites.

I'm pretty sure I don't have any meat products in the freezer, so it might be a 'Meatless Tuesday." I hate grocery shopping. Actually, I think I hate any shopping that occurs in a store.
  • A workout always help me relieve anxiety... I want to get to the gym tonight, but we'll see if there's time. Have fun, Bay.

  • Hey. I'm at bowling right now. My day was long and tiring but fun. Musu - how is the job?

I never want to work out, especially when I'm in a bad mood, but after I do, I always feel like a beast.

In Response to Re:Tuesday Evening:Hi Pretties. I'm getting ready for dinner at the IL's. Joy! Angel how much did you get cut or planning on? Posted by rachers1017 I'm still not quite sure, I'm going to show her your pic and see what she says. I don't know how much I like her. My best friend goes to her and loves her, but she's barely said a word to me. Makes me wonder if my friend bad mouthed me and my engagement/wedding, since she wasn't supportive at all in the beginning. Not bc she doesn't like FI, but because she wasn't sure we were "ready" since we still live at home. ETA, plus, I'm pretty sure she's trying to burn my scalp off with this dryer. Ouch.

  • Petal, the job is awesome. Its only day 2 but I really feel like I am gonna love it. My fellow law clerk that also started with me is great and we are already getting to be good friends. The attorneys are just so friendly and flexible, and super great to talk to. Plus it the government so I am pretty much commanded not to work overtime, or on the weekends, which is fine by me. ;)

  • Hey!  I got my hairs did today too.  I am so happy to feel human again :)  I think I like the stylist I went to.  I made another appointment to go back to her again.
  • Musu - I'm glad to hear that. I'm sure it helps make all that school worth it.

  • I miss my old stylist, she was great. I only went elsewhere bc the new bleach they got at the old salon doesn't work as well and my hair has gotten really brassy the last few times.

All this hair talk makes me want to get my hair done.. speaking of has anyone ever used Wen?? I have and I absolutely love it.. It's my ultimate dream to go to Chaz's salon and get my hair done. However, I don't think I can afford the $300 cut,  airfare, and hotel! eek!

  • Color, trim up, brow wax.  Last time I did color I only did lowlights to blend in the roots a bit since I'd just found out about Fruit Loop and my doctor said no full color until 12 weeks.  So my roots were AWFUL, the red was all but gone.  It was pitiful.

I'm glad you're enjoying your job MuSu.  That's awesome.  What are the odds it can turn into something permanent after you graduate?  Would you want that?

</div><div>Well they only hire county attorneys when there are openings, so that is kind of a crapshoot. And I don't know that I'd want to be a prosecutor, but we'll see. However, the job itself will look tremendous on my resume, because of how prestigous this clerkship is. Which will really help later on for sure.</div>

<div>Yep, that's me Dry and Curly. I do have to say I do have to rinse my hair for around 10 minutes because if you don't it makes your hair look oily but my frizz was cut down a ton. Do you remember which one you tried?</div>

</div><div>I tried the main kind, and then sent it back because it didn't work so they sent me one that was more tailored to oily hair. Still didn't work. It was ok though, I didn't have the money to afford it anyway. ;)</div>

Hi all, I know I don't usually post, but I'm bored at work and the E-board is my favorite.  Since everyone is talking about hair, I am excited to go and get my hair done in a few weeks.  It has been about 6 months, so it is longer than I would like.  I am just glad I don't have to sit for 6 hours like I did last time, since it is just a cut and perm instead of highlights and lowlights.

  • Holy crap, rsanna, 6 hours for highlights and lowlights?!? I would go insane. I'm bored right now and it's been an hour and a half.
