In Response to Re: Tuesday Evening : See, that takes effort.  And H isn't here to do it...he's the cook person around here. That's why half of the time I eat cereal and beer or wine and cheese for dinner and the rest of the time I eat actual meals.

Cereal, Grits, left overs, corn dogs, fish sticks, and bread with oil and vinegar are the staples in my non cooking house.

Tonight I had Wendy's Jr bacon with Chili Cheese Fries and Strawberry Parfait. had to go to the doc and Wendy's was so close and looked so good... Got lunch for tomorrow, too! LOL

  • I bought two single serving frozen lasagna's today (love Stouffer's).. They will make good dinner soon.

  • Bay, PRETZELS.  omg.

Aryn- I don't know.  I just don't like them?  I really try to not eat a lot of processed foods- If i'm going to eat things chock full of sugar and salt, I want it to be things that are sweet or salty, not you know, frozen pasta.   And I don't eat fast food either. I'm a strange kind of picky eater.

Petal- SO EXCITED for Bunheads.  SO EXCITED.

Post It's rock - I keep a pad everywhere for when I get calls and need to do something I can't do then.

We are common law, but haven't ever had a marriage license and a wedding. Our marriage was formed in SC when we lived there and now we're making it officially legal in NC with a marriage license and wedding.

Have you tried Topomax for your headaches?

  • I would rather starve than eat frozen meals. I would MUCH rather live on wine and cheese than eat frozen meals.

  • Yall are making me so hungry. We don't keep sweets in the house. I guess I'll make a smoothie and hope it helps curb my new craving for chocolate, teddy grahams, and nutella.

I just had to walk around the whole damn Wawa looking for the salad dressing. Why the f wouldn't you keep it near the salads? I don't think PA has common law marriage anymore. I think it's kind of a strange concept... If people want to be married, they'll get married.

  • PA doesn't have them as of 2005 (earlier ones are still valid).

I know, because I just looked up common law marriages (:
  • Ugh my cable is still not working!

Here's a website with some interesting common law info -

    <a href="http://www.unmarried.org/common-law-marriage-fact-sheet.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.unmarried.org/common-law-marriage-fact-sheet.html</a>

There were a lot of factors in our decision and it was the right thing for us at the time. Lots of family guilt for marrying outside our religion (close to Messianic Jewish), marrying a Catholic, parents don't like him, and now I have found enough backbone to tell my parents that it's my life and at my age I'm going to do what I think is best/right and be happy.

And, we both converted to Baptists 2 years ago so now we have a church home we can agree on and I'm not forced through Catholic pre marriage rituals!
In Response to Re:Tuesday Evening : Because they only keep the little one serving dressing pockets over there goofy.  ;)  The "grocery" section at Wawa is set up so weirdly. No, I have not tried Topamax.  I'm trying to hold off until after the wedding BUT got a notice in the mail today that my primary is leaving his office on the 30th and I will be drifting up shiiit creek if I don't get in to see him before then.  :(  I don't know if a new doctor will even be able to see me before the wedding.

I only got here last week, and I was OOT for a wedding this weekend, but it's good so far! I'm enjoying sitting on the couch eating bonbons (i.e. undemployment).

  • That's what I was looking for, Eagles! They were all the way across the wawa near where they make food. It makes very little sense to keep them there, IMO. Aryn, I couldn't live in a house without sweets. With my salad, I bought a big chocolate chip cookie, a bag of sour patch kids and a butterfinger bar. In my defense, the sour patch kids are for FI and I'll just steal the green ones.
Imitrex usually works, but the headaches are becoming too frequent. Omg Eagles, shut up about your headaches already.
    Posted by EaglesBride2012
Imitrex worked great, but I was allergic to the new carrier in the air inject and had to be rushed to the hospital and now am allergic to all triptans.

Other than my food tasting like dirt, turning into a hopeless witch, not being able to see, my eye twitching, my toes tingling, having brain fog, fogetting names, places, and words, and not having an appetite the Topomax has very few side effects. :P

I grew up without sweets in the house so I guess I'm pretty used to it. If we get a craving for something (which really isn't that often) one of us will just run to the grocery or convenient store.

ETA: At least it wasn't that often before I started reading about all the tasty treats in the night threads.
  • Headache's suck.  That's all I got.
