[QUOTE]Evening Ladies, I just got home from taking my dog to the vet. I came home to H and my wonderful neighbor cleaning out the woods behind our house. Exciting! I can't wait to have an actual yard instead of a jungle!

</div><div>I'm starting to get annoyed with H, he wanted to cook this dinner and now he's constantly asking where everything is, if we have stuff. Isn't that something you should have done before now?</div>

See, 9 just wasn't memorable to me. The episode I remember the most is the Jack Harness and "are you my mummy" episode.

  • I love thinking about Christmas. It's my absolute favorite time of year! I may or may not already be planning how to decorate my new apartment this year.
  • I love making no sew blankets for gifts. So warm, cuddly, and thoughtful.

I'm making fried rice for dinner.  I have no idea when H will be home.  I have unhappy lungs again.  It's hot.  Minka didn't get her afternoon dose of meds but she's not twitchy.  We might get a kitten.

</div><div>DD & Nerdy Girl had their dress fittings today. Damn, I have some good lookin' kids. ; ) Neither dress needs major altering, so that is good. • Oh right, dinner...I forgot to eat. This is probably why I keep losing weight.

J, do you already have this kitten picked out or have yall just decided to start looking?
  • J, Kitten? Wow.
FI still wants to do Outback so we're doing that. Not really in the mood for a giant meal, but whatevs. Need to be home by 8, because a friend wants to call(probably to vent about her X), so hopefully we'll get in and out quickly.

  • I agree that people get offended way to easily. There are so much bigger things in the world and that is what is going to bug you.  Ugh.

Lizzie, I wish I knew the names of more of the Doctor Who episodes. But alas, titles and I just don't get along. Have fun shucking corn.

Well, I finally get to leave work for the day and finish up enchildas at home. Talk to everyone later.

  • Haha, Edie.

My coworker got her son a kitten, and their dog HATES it.  Like, wants to kill it hates it.  So she asked me if we wanted her.  We agreed that if her dog still wants to kill it by the time we get back from vacation (because she hasn't had it very long, so the dog could still adjust) that we'd take her for a couple weeks or so to see if Box Kitty had a coronary over it or not.  If Box Kitty does ok, we'll keep her. If not, she'll try to find someone else to take her.

We've talked about getting another cat a few times, and we know that it could either be very good (will help reduce Box Kitty's stress and separation anxiety) or very bad (makes her even more stressed and twitchy), so it will be nice to be able to give it a trial run.

  • I'm really craving waffles with strawberries for dinner, but I had a late lunch and I'm not quite hungry enough yet.

Is it weird that H's parents didn't get us a wedding gift? For some reason friends keep asking what they got us and then give me weird looks when I say "nothing".
  • Wally, I'm glad the fittings went well! My bridesmaids didn't need any alterations besides hemming, they were so happy haha.
  • Last year I didn't have time to make anything....haha we didn't even put up a tree!

Two years ago I made my nieces and nephews puppets to go along with all their other goodies!

  • H's parents didn't get us a gift.  Granted, we weren't expecting one because they paid for the RD.

But they're STILL (over a year later) claiming that our gift is "on the way" (they live 30 minutes from us and we see them at least once a month).  That irritates me.  It's OK if you didn't get us a gift.  We've long since moved on (not that there was anything to move on about).  Either get us a gift or don't, but STFU about it.

    Hockey-That's cute!

Liesel-My Mom didn't get us a wedding present either. She was sucking up to me at my shower saying she was going to buy H a grill....but we all know that's not happening.
My BM and MOH were shocked that my mom didn't get me a gift.

ETA:She didn't pay for the wedding.

<div>I was so hungry for pancakes today. So after the dress fittings, we went to Perkins. Cuz I'm too lazy to cook pancakes at home. </div><div>
</div><div>H & I just talked about wedding gift  for the kids last night. We are doing the wedding (although her bio mom did pay off the photographer, which was an unexpected surprise!) and wondered if anything else was necessary. I noticed a pair of plaques that had the verse from Ruth about 'where ever you go, I will go; where ever you stay, I will stay' on DD's Pinterest board. They are having that reading. So, I found the plaques and ordered them. I will make a really groove card to go with it and both H and I will write the letters to go in it. And I think that is going to be the extent of it. Is that adequate, do you think?</div>
