My MOH and bridesmaid are having trouble finding potential restaurants to launch my bachelorette party at... any ideas? We're from Toms River, so anywhere around the shore is great. Nothing quiet, please!
Red or Downtown in Red Bank... also like the suggestion for Avenue in Long Branch. I wouldn't go with Melting Pot (more couples, families IMO) and Juanito's to me doesn't scream girls night out (just having Mexican food and drinking doesn't go well with me.. plus it's BYOB- which could be a good or bad thing).
I like Downtown a lot- and upstairs is a lot of fun with a band during the weekends. You could call ahead and have them reserve a section/tables for you upstairs and you can order food and drinks all night, decorate etc.
They have like "bachelorette party packages" but it's just a picture or something like that. I would personally stay away from Melting Pot as it's not suited for a b-party, more for a nice night out. But all depends on what you are looking for.

<div> </div><div>That's so funny - we did Juanito's for dinner (and it was a tame dinner- it was just eating and wine we brought) and then Red and The Downtown after. We kinda think alike!</div>

Check out Ashes in Red Bank as a possibility too. When I was there last year it was pretty hip and had really great food. Bar and food downstairs and club setup upstairs.
Melting pot does actually do great parties if you want a sit down kind of thing. They have a great bar and party packages. Do expect to pay at least $100 for up to six people before alcohol, tax and tip though.
