JB, i read that post and thought it was to me.  I was like, I would never, NEVER, ask to be a moderator.  I am not really the tolerant type.

But, in all honesty, I put my judgy pants on one leg at a time like everyone else and I do wear them EVERY DAY.  Maybe I just frame it well.

not true at all.  again, this was weeks ago JB. but i am not going to explain myself.  Again, the purpose of TK mods are to prevent spam & abuse of TK.  Not be the perfect poster, supportive of everything everyone says or does, or be the model of perfect character & judgement.

Smokey I think that we are all judgemental a bit - no one can say that they aren't, because we all have our moments. But it comes down to this - it's not what you say, it's HOW you say it.

Moderate =  keeping within reasonable proper limits, not extreme, improper, or intense

Whilst I have not had any disagreements with anyone on the board I do think the moderator needs to be able to control things and in this case I do feel the new "mod" is highly opinionated at times and I am not sure if that would go well with being the mod.

Oh come on you guys, I think Aegrish will be a great Mod, sometimes you need someone that will be able to lay the law down when need be, whereas some of the others mentioned, not sure if they would be able to do that well.

Is being a Mod that big of a thing in the grand scheme of things here, I think she'll handle it just fine.

How about we give her a chance, before you say you don't want her to be it, regardless of prior posts.  This thread is definitely not helping any, all I'm hearing is negativity which is not the point of the boards.

And as most know, I've never had a problem with anyone, and like all the girls mentioned, I just don't think this post was needed.  ESPECIALLY seeing as her wedding is this weekend, pretty mean and rude IMO.

I wasn't saying she laid down the law in the past, I was saying I think a Mod needs to be able to do that, and I think she would be able to easily, that's all.  I just feel bad for her.  Remember, I was the one who said I thought you'd be a good Mod.

Really, are you kidding me.  Ok when I first started planning I changed my mind a few times, so what, it happens.  Especially when planning a destination wedding.  I no longer have those dilemmas/kinds of posts.  Instead I think I help a lot of people out due to my research/scouting.  Who the hell cares if I did though at first, don't read them.

I was not trying to be mean. I just think that those things are to separate characteristics. Also....Thank you for thinking I could be a good mod. I am just disappointed that someone who is critical and likes to through her opinion around to much is the mod.

I was hoping for someone that loves Vegas and that provide a little info on everything, in addition to the 'mod' duties. And what I mean is something like a bride comes in asking about having a wedding at CircusCircus, a wonderful mod would say, "well, CC is somewhat dated, but they do offer great deals" and not, "eww, I wouldn't have my wedding there, it's trashy" sort of thing.

Also, pretty sure your snarkiness towards me is due to the fact that I've made it pretty clear in that past that I definitely don't think 60 people fit comfortably in the Vista. But that's JMO, you shouldn't take offense to it, you were completely happy with that amount and your wedding in general, which is great.  I chose to go a different route that fits us more, that's all.
