Sara, Have you ever read some of what AE has said to other people? I have seen so many posts where she has done nothing but fuel the flames between people. She has been negative towards many posters and their wedding decisions. Not everyone has an unlimited budget and they should not be made to feel less because of it.

A mod needs to be diplomatic, not derogatory. Rach has been a great mod. AE will not be someone who stops fights. She claims she knows how to stop spamming and vendors, but that is not all a mod needs to be able to do.

This really is the worst decision. I am sad to say that I am sure many of the past brides will be here less and less. Those are the ones who were supportive.

Apparently I wasn't that great of a Mod if other knotties on the board went behind my back to ask if they could take over for me. 

I must have sucked huge donkey balls, in fact.

ETA: and by other knotties....I mean one other knottie. Just incase that wasn't clear.

That is ridiculous, you have always been so helpful. I understand people have lives outside of the knot. You got married and have a job that has to pay the bills. If you were ever paged you were right here. I am seriously disgusted by AE. I am so glad that I was able to recieve the help I did from the brides in here. I only can hope that new people who come here looking for help can find help in the bio's and reviews because I really think this place is headed down the toilet!

The point of me stepping down wasn't that I am leaving....my ass isn't going anywhere. 

The email I got about continuing to be the mod made me feel  soooo guilty; I thought TK was trying to tell me I was doing a bad job. Little did I know....

Actually I never asked to replace anyone at all and all the PP about that are not true at all, and talk about jumping to conlcusions and being judgemental.  I'm not going to bring KA into this but I'm sure she would vouch for me.

But I'm off to my wedding!  Enjoy getting worked up over something as silly as an orange label and someone that watches for TK 'illegal' posts whether I'm "opinionated" or not.  Who isn't on here... that really is very petty.  Later ladies.

Not that I want to continue this craziness, but the idea that my "snarkiness" is because I had 60 people in the Vista suite is really laughable. It has never crossed my mind, honestly. What I said was a joke and happens to be true-- from your own acknowledgement. And btw I have posted on probably 30 threads in the last month--not too bad from an old married lady...

Hmm yeah pretty sure you didn't mean it as a joke, but a dig instead, and seeing as I've never caused any controversy not sure why you felt the need to be snarky to me.  That was seriously a year ago, one year, when I couldn't decide on things at first.  I'm just really confused as to why you would make a "joke" about me being indecisive at first.  I thought one of the reasons the boards are here is to help people that are having a hard time making a decision.  I stand by what I said though, weird I'm not changing my mind, imagine that.

I agree with Junebug, I go on the Mpls. board here and there, and they are nowhere near as drama laden as this board has been lately.  It's too bad really.

And who would that be, you and anyone that was on the boards after I got engaged.  Not sure what your point is by "saying what others have been thinking", I wasn't aware my early posts were so bothersome to people.  In fact, I'm pretty sure my dilemmas may have helped some people make decisions.  And yes I do think some people get offended when others don't love their venue etc. like they do, ie Flamingo, or having too many people in a suite.  Whether they admit it bothers them or not.  JMO:)

It's just an entirely different vibe on the Mpls. board and rarely do you see 70 count posts with brides going back and forth, but hey maybe that's "Minnesota Nice" for ya:)

Of course the Vegas board is more beneficial for my planning and that's why I'm on it more, and I like to help any other brides that I can. That is the main point of these boards and all, the snarkyness I could do without, but that's just me.
