I keep dreaming I have forgotten to buy a wedding dress?

Hello all!

For the past week or so I have had these dreams 5 or 6 times, that some how surrounds me not having my wedding dress on the day of my wedding. Either I have forgotten to purchase the dress or it didn't get shipped in time or it has some how gotten lost. And in these dreams I am trying desperately to get to a store and buy a dress but I somehow get slowed down by people who are with me. In my most recent dream, my father and sister are trying to help me get a dress but on the way they want to stop at different bars and get alcohol before the wedding. The dreams end up being very distressing, has any one else ever had dreams like this? I feel so silly but its kind of starting to stress me out.

When I was planning my wedding, I had a dream that I was suddenly at my wedding, in the middle of the mall.  I was wearing the wrong dress and didn't have time for hair and makeup.

WOW...glad to see that Im not alone!! I've had 3 dreams that Im in some back room at some random "venue." Im surrounded my tons of people and I do not have a gown!!! I always panic and run out into the aisle wrapped in some fabric!!! In front of all the guest!!! Terrible!

Maybe we need a dream interpreter?

I had that dream once, but it was back before I was even engaged. I got up the morning of my wedding day, went to get ready, and suddenly realized I didn't have a dress. It was like it hadn't even occurred to me. In the same dream, we had a baby, and then suddenly I was with friends and family. They kept asking me questions about her, and I realized I couldn't answer them. I had no idea....I had forgotten to name her, look at her...I didn't know her length, weight, if she had hair, what color, etc. It was a terrible dream.

I have dreams like that all the time.

I have dreamt that it was the day of the wedding and we had NOTHING. No dress, no venue, no venders, nothing. Everyone was trying to get everything figured out before the guests arrived.

I dreamt that my sister got engaged and wanted to get married on the same day. We were all running around trying to find dresses and flowers for the ceremony.

Last night I dreamt that it rained on the day of our wedding so we had to get married in the stables. We're getting married at an equestrian center, but the indoor option is NOT the stables! I was waiting to walk down the isle and I realized I wasn't ready. I didn't have my belt, my veil, my shoes, etc. And we had totally forgotten to buy bands!

Everyone was waiting for me and I had to run from my hiding place near the ceremony site to the room where I had all of my stuff. And everyone saw me. Also, my groomsmen were in blue suits, shirts with a small and colorful floral pattern with big, bold patterned ties and my girls were in short, dusty blue lace dresses with oversized double-breasted jackets in mauve. It was all very weird. But we got married and no one seemed to notice all the mistakes. 

I need a dream book.

I had a wedding nightmare...no one is there to help me, so my FH has to help me get dressed. He kept pulling out different garment bags, but they have other dresses in them...not my dress. At the time my sister declined as my MOH, and I think I felt like I was lacking her support.

I had a similar one last night but it was hair and makeup. Like I was trying to find a place to do my hair the day before my wedding.

ok this is nuts! I was showing my BM this thread & she told me that she had a dream that she married my FI! Ummmm...?
