I'm determined to do a high kick at the end of a conversation today. I've just got to. As an aside: did anyone watch the walking dead preview thing this weekend? They played both seasons and then a special talking dead episode. It was awesome. A 4min clip of season 3 airs on sunday during small town security.
  • Thanks guys. I think its just bothering me since this was to see what's going on with my stomach and had nothing to do with that particular area. I have had issues in that regard in the past but never cysts or anything. Fun times. I have an appointment on Friday with my GI guy to go over if they saw anything. Ali, depending on what they say I might want some info, even though with my new insurance it costs an arm and a leg to go to anyone besides where I work.
  • Oh, the Berries & Creme guy. They used to play that commercial all the damn time.
  • I wish I could be one of the gross people who walk around here barefoot. I kind of have to pee but I don't wanna put my sandal back on over the new tat (I totally walked in here at 5:30 am barefoot, no one else was around).
  • Sesh- I love the tat, and the success kid meme is one of my favorite ones- that is seriously awesome. Did it hurt to get it done?

Lbarr- I hope you find some answers soon, that would be really hard for me to deal with, and my mind would automatically worry regardless of trying not to.

Morning!  Trying to get caught up in the office after being gone last week. Good news- I got my promotion! It officially starts in a week. Woo-hoo!!!
  • Congrats on the promotion, kate!

It hurt a little, but nowhere near what I was anticipating. I freaked myself out over nothing. Certain spots hurt worse than others, like closer to the toes, but mostly it was just irritating. It stung more when he was finished and wrapping it. I didn't say anything to H though because he would have been all, "I don't feel sorry for you. You did it to yourself." He didn't really want me to get it so he's not sympathetic at all, ha.

A guy at work always takes his shoes off and walks around in his stocking feet. Even into the bathroom. Super grosses me out but if he likes having piss soaked socks, then whatever.

H has been talking about a tattoo lately.  I'll probably be just like this.

Ew, I'd never go into the bathroom here barefoot. I just went up the stairs and to my desk. There is a guy here who does though and he's been talked to many times about needing to wear shoes. And he smells like onions.

Pirate, what does your H want to get?

I would imagine the top of the foot would be the most painful part of the body to get tattooed. That, and the rib cage. Makes me cringe just thinking about it. I dig your tattoo, btw.I wish I had the balls to get one. I just don't know what I'd get or where I'd get it. I guess I'm worried about how it'd look when I'm an octogenarian or that I'd get sick of it.

  • The name is Imrich Kent.  And the last name is VERY Polish.

Imrich?  Maybe it's a family name on her side.

Sometimes it makes me sad that we aren't having kids, I'd love to be the one person in adams family to name their child something normal.
  • Smash-  that's an interesting name....  It seems more of a  masculine name, too.

  • Oh no, it's a boy.  I just mean on the mother's side.

Everyone else in his family has "normal" names.  I'm sure his parents are thrilled.  I sincerely hope that his mother is doing what she did for every child of his sister's, and is stayiing with them for a month or two post-baby.

It seems imrich is a "germanic" name, form of emmerich. I think it sounds kinda nice tbh.

See, it's probably best we aren't having kids because I'd totally give my kid a weird name. My name is boring and overdone, H has a cool name, my brother has a cool name (I've never heard of anyone else with his name). So, my kid would have a weird or uncommon name.

I'll settle for giving my book characters weird names.

Oh, ok.  I don't mind it nearly as much for a boy as I do for a girl.  Still NMS.  I'm sure the names we have picked out aren't everyone's style either, though.

It is.  And honestly, I don't even dislike the name, it's just the pure WTF-ery of it coming from someone like him.

[QUOTE]I think my kids are going to hate me.  Their middle names will be slightly more normal.  Assuming I have one of each, that is.

What are the names you guys have picked?

We chose Guiliana Corday/Elizabeth Grace for girls and Timothy Parker/Brody Scott for boys.

So the b-party was fun I take it Brandi?

My next tattoo will be on my foot so I'm glad to hear it didn't hurt as much as you were expecting Sesh.

Really nothing exciting going on here.  It's muggy and hot and will be for the rest of the week.  Got some of H's birthday presents figured out but need to work on a few more things.  We head to MO/NE next week so I need to get it done quickly so I can have it all shipped to his aunts house.  I overpack as it is, I don't need to add presents to an already full suitcase.

I have two middle names, so if something changes and we ever have kids they will have two as well. I've already decided if we had a girl, shed be getting the same middle name my grandmother had. Cause its awesome, wicked old fashioned though.

So fun.  I have not had that much to drink since September and then my 21st birthday before that.

This was me after my 5th (?) Jello shot.
