  • MK as the others have said, you are a true inspiration.  I am only 5'1 inch also.  Crazy how the BMI calculators work when we are this short....

Safe travels to all who are traveling...must admit I am a tad bit jealous of all of our travelers for Christmas can't wait for it to be me next week.  That is what keeps me going.  Toronto should be fun.  FI is pretty excited!
  • I enjoyed it.  It's about time some things got shook up.

[QUOTE]We had to cover her pen also.  Don't keep taking him out though!!  You'll regret it later, for reals.  There were times I had to put Lucy in the living room so I could sleep.

<div>Yeah, I'm not going to. My work schedule has been crazy and I've been getting up around 4:30 anyway (although didn't 'have to' today). </div><div>
</div><div>  Right now he is in the pen because he drank and ate and played alot still will not pee.   He cried, we left him for a few minutes, came back to check on him, left again, more crying, came back after a little longer time, etc.  Now he is calmly in his bed chilling for about 10 minutes.  DH is now giving a treat for being quiet.    But he still has not peed.  </div><div>
</div><div> Later today we will try the crate again.</div>

<div>MK you are awesome! I hope you treated yourself to Froyo after :)</div><div>
</div><div>I don't really like the BMI scale because it doesn't account for muscle.  I'm only 5'1" (5'2" on a good day) and I think I'm considered "average" or something because I have probaly 10-15 lbs of muscle.  This doesn't affect me as much as some others who may have 30+ in muscle alone and be characterized as overweight, or close to it. </div>
  • We are currently under a tornado watch.  I live in the city and not sure if they actually get tornadoes here.     Xmas is suppose to be in the 50's, brrrr

  • It would be really weird wearing shorts on Christmas.
  • Hi ladies!  I feel like I haven't been around in ages.  What's new?  What have I missed?

Nothing much new here - my parents visited last weekend, which was nice.  Looking forward to my 3-day weekend....although not looking forward to almost everyone being off next week because that means a lot of slack for me to pick up!  Ugh.
  • I like the drama on PS, but not on E.

    Because I'm selfish and lazy.
  • Do it, Fezz!  I'm hoping the inlaws don't get wind of the party.  We've invited BIL/SIL, and their parents tend to think they're invited to everything.  We want to keep it the younger crowd this time, though.

  • Good morning!

MK you are truly an awesome person, congratulations!!  And yay for an unexpected 4-day weekend!

We have similar weather Stacks, I kind of wish we'd get a little snow on Christmas, it just doesn't feel right.

Rosie I wish I could take that cat but you are definitely doing the right thing to take it to a shelter if you don't find it's home.  I'm forever seeing cats outside in my area and it just breaks my heart I wish I could take them all in.
  • Yeah. I'm a cold weather gal.  I wouldn't enjoy being in a warm place for Christmas.  I was like a little kid when it started snowing yesterday and I was super sad when it stopped.
  • Good morning!  You ladies are quick this morning.

My sister moved in with us last night and I'm already ready to kill her.  It's going to be a long week.  I have to go shopping this afternoon, and hopefully that will go smoothly.  Two more days of work...here's hoping they fly.

  • LTB, Walmart wasn't too bad last night when I went around 4:30ish. No fucking ribbon selection but other than that I did ok.

EXCEPT I was feeling a bit down so I just grabbed a "dream kitchen and bathroom" magazine to read when I got home. I just threw it in the cart and when I got home and looked at it the damn magazine cost $12.99 WTF. I am mad at myself.

  • I was at walmart last night too, it wasn't crazy at all, well except for the fact that they've put a million pallets of last minute gift ideas of crap in all the main aisles so it's kind of hard to manuever around at some points.

H went to Wendy's the other night, which shares a parking lot with the Walmart by Easton, at Stelzer and Morse.  He said it took him forever to get out of the parking lot!

Yeah FIL's live further north and west then us and I'm hoping they get a little something just so I can see some damn snow on Christmas.
  • Morning!

MK - Wow!  You are amazing.  I mean it.  Just, wow.

Rosebutt - Awe, poor ditty.  I hope you find it's owners.  Generally when they are that friendly, they are just lost.

Snips - Safe travels home!  I hope your mom's bag gets here in time!

H and I are going to look at two kittens tonight!  So here's hoping!  They are both ubber adorable, so I'm pumped.  Now for names for a little girl kitten.  Secretly, I am way more excited for a girl kitty than a boy kitty.  I don't know why.  I think it's because I've always had girl kitties, although I would take a Sir Whisky in a heartbeat.

  • Habs - I love your siggy.  I always said if I ever got an all black kitty, I would name her Egypt.  And if I ever got a horse, I would name him Excalibur.

  • Morning all.

I'm sick so I'm just laying here resting. I'm getting my hair done today which is always nice. Trying to decide if I should do the pedicure today or wait until tomorrow.

I finally decided that since I can't have a puppy, I should get a kitten instead. FI said we could start looking when we get back from Christmas.
