I have a random question- do you have to show a photo ID when you vote? Our stupididiotmoronrichsdouche governor just veto'd a bill that would require a photo ID to vote. I don't get it. What harm is thtat going to do? and should you have to prove who you are??

It keeps the people who aren't able to get a photo id voting.
We don't have to show ID. Actually, they're not allowed to even look at your ID if you try to show it. You have to tell them your name and address.

<div>Yeah, but it's MN law that anyone over the age of 18 legally has to have a photo ID on them at all times. I mean, I doubt they actually go around asking anyone. <div>Exactly. I mean, I need a photo ID to get a job, get married, buy a drink. I'd be fine with a passport/photoID/CollegeID/Drivers License. Anything. It just seems like a weird bill to veto. </div>
We have to show our IDs. NBD. I don't understand why they wouldn't check. I mean, I know my mom's address, and if I wanted to, I could copy her signature (not that I would), so what's the harm in checking IDs?
Just jumping in, Tonight was absolutely crazy! Tornado in my city/town/county. NEVER before. First time well in the city. It's hit surrounding area already. Crazy, scary and WOW. I was with my best friend at her place and was able to hang out with her, her youngest son, and her soon to be hubby in their basement. O and the two dogs. Very interesting. I was a bit freaked for a few reasons. One was because my parent's house, don't have access to the basement and there are windows downstairs except the kitchen but it's a very small kitchen, can't sit in it. So, I was a bit worried about them but it didn't face them at all. There is no smoking in the house and when I called my mom, she said her and my older brother were outside most of the time it was going on.
On a good note, I got my staples out from my surgery, I'm walking pretty normal, pain is minimum, so I'm happy about that. And I can drive again! :-) So I'm here now. Going to catch up.
That being said, Jas, I love the first one and the third one. ESPECIALLY the third one. I feel like the first one would be more versatile, though. But I really love that 30s-40s vibe that the third one has.
