Re: Tuesday Evening

  • I'm thinking i might get the first one, but I'm not sure yet. I should probably get more button down shirts for court but I can't buy those online because my boobs are a wild factor with those.

  • I'm totally that girly. I'd do that every damn day if I could. And also, if I had places to go.

My boobs don't like button downs. I look obscene.

  • So airbrushing for the wedding is a good idea?  I am planning on a MUA for the day, and I hate my complexion...it's blotchy, and I'm 45 so the crows feet are a factor though. They aren't bad, but they're there.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Tuesday Evening : I think first of you, you need to make sure you're rinsing all your conditioner out thoroughly if you condition your roots :)  Second of all, as long as you use non-clogging oils (so I would recommend jojoba and/or grapeseed) you'll be fine.  I've used both of those as moisturizing oils that I leave on without issue, and I promise you I have the pickiest, most breakout prone skin ever.  But also?  I have an easier time getting everything off my face with oil cleansing than I did with regular face wash, because it's so easy to swipe your hairline with the washcloth.

<div>Thanks.  I stand under the shower for a few MINUTES after I finish washing/rinsing everything cause I just love the let the hot water hit me, so I'm pretty sure I'm well rinsed :).</div><div>
</div><div>Thanks - it would be jojoba and/or grapeseed mixed with the castor, right?  I saw Steph say on SB once that she started doing it after she was pregnant once her skin started going nuts.  So we'll see.</div>

Model in a Bottle makes it.  I'm not fuuckinng with you, promise.

Actually, Jill Stephens makes it.  <a href="http://www.modelinabottle.com/" rel="nofollow">http://www.modelinabottle.com/</a>

Except she probably doesn't actually make it.  She probably pays someone to make it for her.  Insert politically incorrect joke about sweatshops here.

Express button downs are my mothereffing favorite.  I had 12 when I wore them all the time to work.  I LOVED THEM.

I don't think you need button downs, but I would look for some solid tops in nice (pretty much anything besides plain cotton) fabrics. And it is nice to have sleeves sometimes so you can take your cardigan/blazer off if you want to. Even though the temperature at my office was set to Antarctic levels I still needed to strip down to one layer on occasion.

I am boobless and button ups don't fit me properly because of the lack of boobage and my long arms.

So, who are button ups made for?!?

<div>Yeah, I definitely will need sleeves since our office is freezing and my cube is like directly under a vent. I don't have many nice tops that aren't sweaters. I need to get on that.</div>

Do you have any good outlets in the area? Outlets + Target + occasionally Zara were the best place for me to get work tops. And I would get some that were sleveless, I just wanted them to cover my whole shoulder, you know? So really just without sleeves, as opposed to 2-3 in straps on top. I don't know if that makes sense.

  • So for a 23 yr old you like it, MUNI? haha. I just like it as a cute skirt to wear out with friends or whatever. My closet is like only super casual and sweats, and then a few nice dress outfits. My closet sucks.

I wear 3/4 sleeve so my sleeves aren't terrible short and usually have the darts altered to fit on the front.

See, and 3/4 sleeves end up looking like my normal length sleeves shrunk in the dryer or something on me.  And don't even get me started on capris.  Hmpf.

Speaking of capris...where do you guys get capris and shorts that are appropriate?  I can wear shorts to work, as long as they're appropriate (and I don't want them short as heck anyway), and I definitely want to because I'm going to be outside a lot, and really active, but I can't find any.
