Eagles! I'm glad you're back. I'm kind of sad that you're not a seal though.

I totally forgot that you met her, Chrissy! That was so bizarre, her whole GBCK thing. She was FB friends w/ us for like 4 days and then went nuts. She was a cute little thing too.

FI has a crazy ex-gf who found me on TK, probably on my local board. It made me paranoid to post anything about my wedding. I even had them put it in my venue contract that if anyone tries to call and cancel it on me, they are to call my cell phone immediately, before doing anything.

Muni, I think that's a great idea! Truly doesn't get more local. I'll be going to the brewery that's about 15 minutes from my house. Actually, I'll be going to Winslows that's 3 minutes from my house and getting the beer.

If anyone IRL found me on here, I wouldn't care. I don't say anything that I would be afraid of someone reading. I've told all of my close friends and family about TK and my friends here, so they know.

ETA: BUT...I don't have any BSC family or friends who would be weird about it, so there is that, too.

MuSu, my official title is "commercial litigator," which is the least useful description out there. Basically, I handle business v. business disputes, usually contract or quasi-contract stuff. Occasionally I help businesses sue their own ex-employees, which is all kinds of awesome. (that's sarc font)

And Muni, my current favorite suit is my navy blue suit, but red sounds like fun. I usually go with a serious suit/fun jewelry combo, unless I'm going to appellate court, at which point the fun jewelry gets left home.

Ahh gotcha. :) I am really interested in family law and a lot of that has litigation components, but I am also rather terrified of speaking in front of a judge. We'll see.

Oh, and I'll probably AW e-pics after I get them on Saturday, so you'll all have a face to put with the s/n soon.

And really, I don't care if people I know IRL find me here, but this particular branch of the family is a branch we're estranged from, and after I got admitted to practice law and all my ish became public record last year, they called my office a few times trying to get information out of me about my parents. It was not cool, and I am looking forward to changing my name after the wedding.

She didn't, but the fact that she found me on here made me worry, because the only way to have found me is to know the SN I use for everything, and I don't know how she would have found that out... the whole thing just made me worry. So to make myself feel better, I had it put in the venue contract.

<div>I interned in a family law clinic during law school, and I really, really liked it. Talking to judges gets pretty routine after a while, especially if you're practicing in a field like family law that involves a good amount of court time. You kind of get to know everyone in the courthouse, and then it starts to feel no different than talking to a coworker in the office or something.</div>

Funny you say that (I haven't read any further). Drinking rum and diets, talking about buying a hot tub (our bathtub is terribly uncomfortable for bubble baths).

And, having a bit of a meltdown about missing my mom. No one wants to hear about that though.
