Chelsea has a full-time job, is sticking to a workout regime, maintains a romantic relationship and generally seems like a fully functioning member of society. I would hardly call her a loser. And this is coming from someone who doesn't really like her. I just think that if you're going to insult someone you should at least be accurate in your characterization of that person. It kind of loses its punch otherwise.

  • In Response to Re:FFF:
Poli, I like Tess Gerritsen's books, particularly the Rizzoli and Isles series, but The Bone Garden was good, too. I have all the Patricia Cornwell books, though the earlier ones were better. Jefferson Bass is a writing team that includes Dr Bill Bass from the Body Farm. The writing isn't great, but I like the plots. Same with Karin Slaughter's books. The murder and cookies series is by Joanne Fluke. Posted by specialk84
Ok, you had me at "Body Farm," and at an author with the last name of Slaughter. Have you ever read anything by John Douglas? He's not primarily an author, but he is a former FBI agent, and he was the first person to develop criminal profiling for them. He isn't the best writer ever, but reading about him interviewing serial killers is fascinating.
In Response to Re: FFF : Well, it could be considered a personal attack if the "bullying" is bad enough, but I don't think that really applies here.  In fact, I think if whoever is JudgeJudy was saying this under her regular name, it wouldn't even get all that much attention.  If saying mean things about people were against the rules, we wouldn't have FFF.   No offense, but you're being very dramatic. If Chelsea felt bullied, she has the option of blocking JudgeJudy entirely.
    Posted by djhar
No offense taken but I wouldn't classify it as very dramatic.  Bullying is a bit of a buzzword though so I can see how it could be construed as dramatic.  And I do have a problem in general with someone being personally attacked.  I admit I have an aversion to that in general so maybe I am a little sensitive to it.
