oh blue. Don't get me started about that shiit. On campus, the police department (we have our own, fully self-sufficient PD on campus) has 'first right of refusal' for just about anything. So instead of paying a student $20/hr to run security at an event, we have to charge clients the $85/hr for an actual cop on OT. for serious.

<div>My HS did random drug testing, and I don't remember needing to get my parents consent for it. They stopped when it was deemed unconstitutional a couple of years later though (at least I think that's what happened? I may be remembering that wrong). </div>

LP, what does your H do? Yeah, we are definitely going to consolidate when we are done with school. An average salary after 3-5 years for me (unless you start in a huge law firm) is at least 100k so I have hopes, anyway, hah.

I could kind of back that up, Hike. I could never ever do that. H used to talk about joining as a 'what if." When he seriously considered it (during his college frustrations), I had a complete melt down. I think that answered his question of whether I coudl support him.

I mean, if that's what he wanted to do, I would support him, but fuuuuuuck. I don't know how people do it.

haha that is funny. My ASL 1 teacher went to Gallaudet and she is hearing. We didn't know til like 3/4 of the way through the semester that she was, though. Which made people who kept their cell phones on or whispered a lot, feel like assholes. heh.
