Agreed. This happens far too often for my tastes. No means no. I still get phone calls and mail from Sirius radio when I had a free trial for 6 months from my new car. I've told them I'm not interested in paying for a subscription more times than I can count.

When you know the drink special at every bar within a 30 mile radius, but you can't remember your parent teacher conference, you might want to reevaluate your priorities.

I'm going to piggy back off this. I have a girl on my friend's list who has a son and she's out partying every night and goes to the beach all summer long. When she split from the father, she didn't want custody because she's "not responsible enough" to have a child full time. Biiitch, you're 30 years old, get responsible. I judge her hardcore.

Oh hell yeah, if someone is rude to you, I'd be pissed as well. But the getting mad because they call you all the time thing? It's simplly not that person's fault -- their computer dials a number for them and that's who they call. The company might be run like shitt or engage in bad business practices, but it's still not that person's fault.

  • Some people/denominations/whatever interpret 1 Cor 6:19-20 as being anti-tattoo "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body..."

At least the church and school I grew up tossed that interpretation in there. They used that verse against tattoos, piercings that weren't in the ear (apparently Jesus was okay with holes in the ears, but nowhere else) drugs, getting drunk, fornication, etc.
  • To people who work in dr.s offices/pharmacies/whatever: insurance is confusing. I never know how much I'm going to have to pay for a visit or for meds and sometimes I get up to the register and am like "WTF, that was $70?" and it sucks. I know my insurance is still covering the majority of it, and that it is not the fault of the dr or pharmacist, but I am a smart lady and make an effort to try and understand my benefits and it still baffles me.

So anyway, I hope people aren't judging me when I am surprised my generic rx suddenly costs $30 more this month than it did last month.
