I know I'm not supposed to do IRL flames, but since there's no real FFF thread (;P), can I flame the bank who owns the mortgage of the house I want to buy? They accepted my offer but said we only had 15 days to close. Well, the seller can't move that quickly (4 teenaged kids in school), and the bank refuses to extend escrow to 30-45 days, so the deal is falling through. Yes, the bank would rather go through the hassle of foreclosing on the house than give the seller 15 extra days to find a new house while I beg to give the bank money.

WTF.

That sucks Mica, and it's BS. My whole job in real estate was extending contracts. It was usually the lenders fault too.

If you raise enough hell they might extend, especially since it's the seller's "fault"

Yeah, midge. I'm not going to agree to disagree on the fact that putting registry info in the invitation is okay because the OP's FI's family is too darn stupid to ASK someone where they're registered.
