Night Thread-Talk to me

Re: Night Thread-Talk to me

  • I was like that in college too, Sesh. And I'm still like that now in law school. Which is weird because honestly when I DO hang out with people, or new people, I am easy to get along with. But I just avoid new social situations now for some reason unless i really want them.

[QUOTE]Wait, do typos count as points TOWARDS the medal or against?  I would think that typing well while drinking is a major judging criteria.

  • Hi everyone!,
I hope your nights are well.  I got home not to long ago from my friends bridal shower :).  Although the rain did interrupt.  I also just got 3 emails from a girl full of pictures which was obviously meant for a girl with the same name as me and a similar email address.  Well thanks for the awkward pictures random girl!!

  • So, some dude just did a cartwheel in his floor routine.  Which reminded me of how I did a regular cartwheel for the first time as an adult while fuccking trashed.  I was trying to prove that I couldn't do regular cartwheels.
  • I'm not even 1/2 way thorough my drink and I have a good amount of Captain left int he bottle.  This should be a fun night

<div>I'm voting against.  Anyone can typo while drinking, it takes a true prodigy to NOT typo while KUI.</div>
  • MuSu - we had bells on the door for a while.  Til Autumn started ringing them whenever we'd sit down and eat just so we'd get up and let her out, even if she'd just gone out.
  • I've always been confused by people who can't do cartwheels. You just...do a cartwheel.

I may have just accidentally reported someone for obscenity. My bad. Apparently drunk Angel clicks random buttons. ETA, I can't do cartwheels :

  • FI just got home and he wants t pick the readings and stuff we are doing for the ceremony.  He doesn't know I've been drinking.  This should be fun.

  • Haha muni, whenever I see them do cartwheels i'm like I can do those too! So you aren't alone.

In college, one of my profs made us do lots of cartwheels. We had to do jumping cartwheels and then cartwheels where we faced a partner and had keep eye contact for the entire cartwheel all the way across the floor. That was freaky.

<div>I have to agree with you on this one.</div>
  • Cartwheels are so much fun.  When I used to do gymnastics they were my favorite besides the tricks on the bars :)

<div>They'd turn into a roundoff every time I tried until my drunken breakthrough.  I could do them one handed just fine though.</div>
  • I'm having a really hard time typing but I try my best to not typo.
  • We did onehanded too, those are crazy weird feeling.

I just did a cartwheel spontaneously to make sure I could still do it. Yep, felt the same as usual. My dogs got all weirded out though.

Chrissy -- Well she was a professor of dance so not really that weird.

  • I am also KUI and also cannot do a cartwheel.  This is going nowhere positive.

<div>I appreciate your support in my campaign for typo free KUIing.</div><div>
</div><div>I am an excellent drunk typer.  Thanks to my high school typing teacher who made us type with sheets of paper covering our hands so we couldn't look at the keys.</div>
  • I *think* I can do a cartwheel right now, but I'd rather not try.  Knowing my luck, I'll fall on my head or neck or break a wrist or something.

  • You would be surprised how many people, even dancers, can't do a cartwheel, Sesh. Its kind of a mind game I think. I think your body naturally can do the movement but a lot of people can't get over the feeling of being straight up and down in the air and upside down at the same time.

College AIM was my best defense against terrible typing.... the more you chat, the better you get.  :)

[QUOTE]That makes it a bit not weird, MuSu. Also, fine because I made ONE typo, fail me.  Whatever!

<div>I think you're still in the running for a medal.</div>
  • I'm pretty good at drunk typing as well. Autocorrect probably doesn't hurt.

  • I can sometimes, but very rarely, do an ariel (I think that's what it's called, a no-handed cartwheel). But I'm a pro at the cartwheel. I kind of want to do one now but H is here and he'd think I was insane. Maybe I'll wait until he goes to work tomorrow.
  • Yeah I could never get the aerial, Sesh. Just one handed, and only one handed on my left side. I am left handed so my left side cartwheels are much better.
    image
  • Yes.  I perfected drunk typing on AIM and ICQ during college.

I think I can still do a cartwheel but I am not going to attempt it now.
  • I've never tried an arial.  I was too chickenshit to try that.  Or back handsprings.  I can do front ones fine, and those are supposedly harder.
  • They made us do cartwheels in dance, so I got used to the body movement.

  • Loopy --- Silly Autumn. So it must be a common thing for dogs to abuse this then. dangit.
