My boss just came again to check that I was "getting things lined up ok". Jesus christ, I'm stuffing god damn envelopes. Give me some credit.
  • Gosh Nebb I would so be tempted to tell your boss to go steep his tea with his sweaty nutsack. What a loser.

Cheaters is awesome. I can't believe people agree to be on it though. It's pretty embarrassing.

I want to tell them how incredibly unhappy I am with what I'm doing now but I think that will end with me just losing my job and not in a way I could get EI. I am incredibly insulted to be doing this crap.

This makes me think your boss is a lot like the boss from Office Space.

Celtic you'll have to send me the information for that night. We would enjoy that.

  • shiiit boobs. Are you sending more storms this way? I mean, my yard loves it, but I'd like to keep my windows open one of these days.

It's sunny right now, but stil cool. My favorite weather. :)

I just caved and ran to the gas station to get donuts. But not one of the 10 near us. Nope, I went 15 minutes out of the way to get the donuts I wanted... and bagged milk. H thinks I'm nuts.

  • My boss asked me a few weeks ago to help our intern if she gets a grant to do stories on immigrant issues. And by help he actually meant rewriting her stories and voicing them for her. So yeah. I'd do the work while she'd get paid. The guy is totes dropping acid.

  • ... milk that you buy in a bag. The local farms in WI always sell it like that- way less plastic than the jugs.  There's one chain of gas stations in MN that sells bagged milk too :) It's way cheaper for a gallon, and it comes in two half-gallon bags, so it stays fresher longer.

<div>Change your location in your profile.  You can do a random one (I think I did 00000 for the zip).  It takes a few days, but it'll eventually update. Or, at least it used to.  You can't get it out on TB though- that's why I changed my sn.</div>

I think they have bagged milk in PA as well. We had bagged milk in elementary school for one year. I think they did away with it once they relized kids were having more fun squirting each other with the milk/throwing the bags at each other, instead of drinking the milk.

Interesting. We don't have anything like that here but I would buy it like that if we did. Milk is outrageously expensive and FI drinks so much.

Gotcha, thanks. I think I'll try that or put some random place in.

  • How much is milk, Brandi? I'm always fascinated by the different costs of things across the country.

In the grocery store here, a gallon averages about $3.59 or so probably? Usually on sale for like $2.50.  The gas station that has the bagged milk sells it for $1.89/gallon regularly.

At 'home' in Central WI, though, milk is like $1.50/gallon. It's fantastic.
  • I think milk here is 3.59 too. But honestly I rarely look at prices when I shop for food if it's for things we need. :s

I pay close to 4.50 a gallon here. FI goes through 2 gallons per week.

There are plenty of cows, I don't see why it's so much more expensive!

  • How much is gas where you guys live? We filled up for 3.15 per gallon yesterday.

  • I don't even know how much milk costs anymore because I hate it. I should make myself have more.

  • It's been fluctuating between $3.50-$3.70 for the last few weeks. I did fill up at Costco for $3.28 the other day, which was awesome. ha

AATB- I still buy it if it's stuff like that, but I remember being sticker-shocked when I first moved to MN from WI. I mean, they're right next to each other! Milk should not double in price.
  • Good morning. I slept in and H took the dog out of the bedroom early so I could. Puppy tends to jump n the bed and wiggle a lot in the morning, which keeps me up. My kid is in D.C. with the high school band this weekend and she said there was a really bad storm last night. It caused them to have to end the concert early. They are marching in the parade there today.

<div>I got in streaks. We drank A LOT of milk growing up, and I still crave an ice cold glass once in awhile.  The last month or so, though, I've had a ton of it.  I figured out that a glass of milk can curb my heartburn way better than TUMS or anything else, so I try to have a glass at night.</div>
  • Two gallons of milk a week for one guy?! I mean I know he is an athlete but holy balls.

I get this idea that I want a nice big glass of milk and take one sip and cringe. I try to eat some cottage cheese everyday but I know that isn't enough calcium. Maybe it's an excuse to buy some fruit pebbles later??

YIO they did shut down the Memorial Day Concert because of thunderstorms. I live about 20-30miles south of DC and we didn't have a cloud in the sky. I was shocked when a coworker told me about it.

Yeah, and up until last week when I realized how bad whole milk really is for you, that's what he drank. This man consumes more in one meal than I do in one day. He is fvcked if he stops working out.
