I was WAY too young. Even so, kids today do shock me. Moreso with how disrespectful they are. And also, they look so much older to me than I think I looked when I was a teenager. Did that sentence make sense?

18... and it's not shock so much as overall gladness that I waited because I was able to enjoy a few good years before developing any neuroses. If the opportunity had arisen, though, it probably would have been earlier.

I was 14, actually exactly 14, it was a b-day present; booyah! lol It was like 18 months later before it happened again; the taker of my virginity and I broke up soon after the b-day present.
Todays kids shock me only in their stupidity. When I was that age, even though probably would have been best to wait for later, at least I had the common sense to always use protection and to at least be in some form of a relationship, or at least as close as you can come to one when you're in high school. These days I hear stories, via a high school teacher friend, of kids talking about condoms are too uncomfortable, you don't need BC if you pull out, so on and so forth; it's like yeah, we only showed you those videos in sex ed to scare you out of having sex, all the stuff about disease and pregnancy was just made up.
How old were you when first you did it? 2 weeks after my 20th birthday. It was something I don't neccessarily regret but I don't take pride in it neither, as I was not in a relationship with him. We went on to be FWB for 4 yrs but never actually anything more. Although he is my (guy)best friend and has been since 10th grade. So it wasn't all that bad being it was at the point I just wanted to get it over with. I would not want to have waited for the first time to be "special" no. My first time sucked! and a few more times after that.
Do today's kids shock you? Mostly the younger they get the more I just get annoyed and wonder why or how these kids are getting away with stuff like that.
