</div><div>I also think my hair is really flipping heavy. I only notice that when I get it chopped off though.</div>
• I don't people who get hysterical and crazy over short relationships. I had a friend who would date a guy for a couple months and break up then act like it was the end of the world and he was the one...every...single..time, and post all about it on facebook and talk non stop. Seriously. Pull it together woman.
• I always want to get a pixie cut, but 1) I don't know if I could pull it off, and it's a big commitment if it doesn't look right, and 2) I always think about it during the middle of winter, when I NEED the extra warmth.

I'd be ok with this. I don't hate on DST in general, but I don't get why Indiana (and other states too) can't be in one time zone. FFS, one state- one time zone.
• I had thirteen inches of hair cut off the week after my HM. I had grown it out for the wedding, and I was just so sick of it.

I tend to grow it out long (like to my bra strap), then cut it to about chin length, then repeat. My hair tends to look better when it's short, since I actually style it. When it's long, I get lazy and pull it into a ponytail or bun.

I think I'm going to go pretty short next week. It's about shoulder length now.
• Mara- I lurk on F&B's OOTD too. I agree with you.

I've done that over a short relationship (ok, not on FB but I did lose it).  And I promise I would have done it again over H had we broken up a few months in.

• Wow, this has gone from Tampons to haircuts quickly.

I never did tampons, cant wear them, Sesh and I are in the same boat. Now I dont have to worry about either of them. When I bagged all my stuff up to give to a CW, DH thought I was nuts. I was dancing...

Hair- I didnt do a wife chop, in fact I'm growing mine out.

• I don't get why some people need to ask strangers all sorts of random questions, like what to wear to a bridal show or who did whom a favor.
**stupid question alert** KD/Sesh, is it a medical thing that prevents tampon usage or a personal preference? Obviously you don't have to answer, just curious.

I have a tilted uterus, so it was really uncomfortable to wear. And after I had my son, it was worse. Plus, my mother has always been someone who encouraged pads, she would tell us god never intended for it to be shoved up in there.

I once knew a girl who "lost" one...yeah, NO!

Hey Duds I have a question for you! Do you think it's safe to order from a Online shop ;) And why if you are mod of A&A isnt your pretty face at the top of the board?

• I dated a guy literally for one month but it got serious fast and it was stupid of us cause he was moving, long distance didn't work. I was devestated when we broke up. Its the one and only time I've ever called my mom bawling my eyes out because of a guy.

• I don't get: some posters on TB.

I'm sure some of you know of Tripp Roth and his death this weekend. There's a bunch of tragedy whoring going and "Let's collect money and send her a tree". First of all, she could probably use the money as opposed to a tree, because a tree can't pay medical bills. Secondly, she lives with her parents and what if they don't have anywhere to plant the tree? I keep seeing talk of "planting the tree at a park", but you've got to have permits and shiit for that. People are stupid. His mother, Courtney, mentioned specific charities/organizations to donate to. Why are you giving her a fucking tree??
• I don't really get OOTD at all.  I've never really cared that much about clothes.  I mean, I like to look nice and stuff, but I hate shopping and generally don't really give a shiit what other people are wearing.

This, and I mostly think that women are dressing for each other, which I think is really weird.
In Response to Re: I don't get it/we get it? : I think the overreaction to that one post (from santana?) about what to wear to a bridal show was stupid. I said so in the thread and then TK ate it. People ask on TK all the time what to wear.  People obviously care about things like that or there wouldn't have been an OOTD thread pretty much every day for weeks.
Posted by ILoveMilkDuds
<div>I agree the overreaction was a bit much, but at the same time, nearly all of her posts were about what to wear. I could understand it more if she was a reg (on any board) and was asking her friends if she was about to leave the house looking like a moron.</div><div>
</div><div>I also don't understand why so many posters automatically assume any new poster with a stupid question is a troll. Some people really are dumb.</div>

<div>Yesterday someone posted on E about a family argument they having over favor giving. It went like this, "If person B says they will do a favor for person A, but then person B can't do it and person C offers, who is giving the favor to whom?" Or something equally convoluted.</div>
• Duds, mine is similiar to what KD said, among other issues. The short answer is, they hurt like a bitch.

• Ive been sad over relationships but even when my longest (5 years) ended I still didn't post it all over facebook or call my friends crying every night saying that my life was over.
If me and H would have broken up a month or two after dating, I would have been sad, but I def would have kept it all together.
This is also coming from a girl who dated guys who acted like crazy hysterical nutjobs after a break up. I even had one guy threaten to kill himself when I broke up with him after a couple months ( I used to be awful at picking good guys) And I could never understand how he could get THAT invested in a relationship that fast that he would threaten to kill himself to keep me around.

• Another IRL I don't get it:

A math professor I used to work with has the first name of Adolph. He's 80 years old, and was born in 1931. Students give him so much shiit about his name--calling his parents racists, asking him if he's going to exterminate an entire population, etc.

FFS, do they not understand a basic timeline of world events? In 1931, the name did not have such a stigma.

Was it Trigg's funeral that they wanted an "hour of silence" on TB with no postings, or was it the other little boy that died?
