Just like in the scene where Han Solo is going down to be frozen. That Wookie Wail. We can't do anything but laugh at him.

Oh, and a size update: the other day, he was sort of behind the couch (it's a reclining one, so the back is kind of high) and to the side. Max put his paws on the armrest, and his head went over the top of the sofa. I have NEVER had a dog this big in my life. I still can't believe his measurements!

PetsHotel always says, Oh, Max! He's famous/infamous.

I'm quite sure! Have at it. In my world, in lurker threads, it's NEVER too late. It's like Christmas morning when I open my computer in the morning after I post one of these threads to a bunch of new lurkers that came to play while I was sleeping.

scaling down the size of your sig pic would be a step in the right direction too. It's a tad bit on the big side.

Well Since I see it's not too late (I was at dinner when this thread began)...

I'm Wendi from Dallas. Event Planner, which sadly I have found translates into Bridezilla with a lot of my vendors EEK! FI is currently deployed til next July, so we get to be engaged for a while since I insisted on a February wedding. We are planning a Rat Pack wedding with casino tables, and most importantly a Macaroni and Cheese martini station (YUM!) I've actually booked everything, which means once he gets home, we can be lazy.

I've been a lurker over here for about a month, but I've been active on my local board since July. I think I'm too big of a smartass sometimes for my board though, but you ladies make me laugh

I don't really have any favorite (feel free to kiss ass to win points) or least favorite posters, except for the whiny ones who aren't really regulars over here and tend to post & run.

Oh and here are my fur babies, since you all were sharing earlier:

Jeter is my 10 year old Schnauzer/Beagle mix

I have been lurking around since September or early October. I am a May 2011 bride.... but I am not one of the crazy ones! I really am thinking of putting that in my signature!!

Tell me about you.- Like I said, May 2011 bride, I work from home doing childcare so I get a lot of time to hang around the boards but even with the free time somehow I always seem to get to the good threads late and it seems weird to post on a dead thread.

Tell me about FI.- FI is a full time coke man... he works for Coca Cola that is. We have been dating for 8 years on Jan. 18th.

Tell me how you met- We met through mutual friends who were getting married. FI went to the grooms bachelor party and I went to the brides bachelorette party. The next night she invited both of us over for dinner and we ended up staying up all night playing board games and talking. We have been together ever since that night.

Tell me about the wedding- We are getting married at my aunts house in front of her lake on her farm. Then our reception is at a local hotel where we will have lots of food, music and beer. We want our guests to have lots of fun so we are hoping for a semi-formal laid back affair.

Tell me who your favorite and least favorite posters are- Gosh... I used to think that nebb was really mean. I guess even though I lurked the first time i really paid attention to peoples names was during the May2011/SB drama a month or so ago. Since then I have lurked on here alot more and now I dont think she is mean anymore. I think my favorite poster is probably TIde because she gave me some awesome advice in a thread I posted on the E board. I also like Roxy even though she keeps changing her sig pic and confusing me!

I'm might be a teeny tiny bit late, but can't resist sharing my puppy!

Lucky when we first got her (8 wks old)

And lucky now, 14 weeks old :-)

She loves snow! She is a beagle/lab mix.

and to answer the lurker questions...

Tell me about you. I'm 23, H is 24, we got married in October and I can't wait for Christmas! It's going to be so much fun this year, because the wedding is over and we can finally afford to give each other gifts!

Tell me about FI. He is a big teddy bear who works on contracts in various cities in the US and Canada (where we live) so he is only home from Thurs night to Sunday, but we make it work!

Tell me how you met. In high school...I was dating his best friend and he treated me badly. Just after HS we got together and then went to colleges 3 hours apart but made it work!

Tell me about the wedding. It was pretty small (about 50 guests) and in our hometown. It was Oct 3rd and our colours were black and red, but our venue put a whole bunch of god awful orange stuff in the place to make it more "fall" and I was severly disappointed that they didn't understand the elegance I was trying to go for with the black and red :-(

Tell me who your favorite and least favorite posters are. I really like Betrothed, KW, Any and AATB, but don't care for MC (sorry, I know that isn't unusual) and the past few days I didn't care for Steph0871 but I think it was just because she was a little harsh on some newer people.

Tell me what you want to talk about more. Pets!
Tell me what you don't ever want to talk about again. 1's confession about the hammer thing. It was wrong, but I mean...let's get over it.

ETA: Because I failed several times today and named the wrong person :-)

Sorry, I may have said the wrong person. I meant Steph0871 who was (in my personal opinion) a bit harsh on Crose. I probably shouldn't have said I "dislike" her, I just wasn't agreeing with her opinions yesterday :-)
