But seriously, it's nice except for when I try to ask him about my meds and he's just a brat about it.

Sesh, that sucks that he doesn't lick it off. Minka will shake her paw violently and back up really fast like she can outrun it, but eventually she licks it off. She can't stand to be wet or dirty in any way. She's incredibly fastidious. When we spray her when she's naughty, she will lick herself until she's dry. After she's done being naughty, of course.

For school? That's a long-ass book to read for school! I enjoyed the movie for what it was, but I don't blame Auel for suiing for the rights back because they did butcher the story. Did you read the last one in the series? I get angry just thinking about it. I shouldn't even bring it up, but it's done now. IT WAS AWFUL AND BROKE MY HEART.

I'm going to be reading Sour Orange at the beach house next weekend, then I'm going to read The Fountainhead. I started Crime and Punishment, but just couldn't get into it. Portrait o fDorian Gray is always a good read, too.

Yeah, Minka will scrunch up her face and sort of hunker down until we're done spraying, and then go back to what she was doing for just long enough to basically say "hey, fuckkk you!" And then she licks the crap out of herself. WTF CATS.
I'm reading a book called Collapse by Richard Stephenson that is freaking me out. It's about the downfall of America in 2027 - Texas and Florida have been destroyed by hurricanes, the Middle East has joined one huge nation against the US and Europe and is threatening nuclear war. It's really intense, with no real relief, which makes it scarier because you can reallly see everything he describes happening.
It focuses on 3 main guys with no connection to each other that somehow do their part to save the nation. Not sure how yet.
He posted on Twitter that his book is free on the Kindle I think tomorrow and Sunday, if you're interested.
The kittens hate getting sprayed, so all I have to do is come at girl kitty, and she'll jump off the island. But boy kitty will try to endure getting sprayed for at least a couple squirts. Then he jumps off and licks the spray areas while giving me a hurt look.

Sam doesn't care. Spray bottles don't phase him. This cat will just sit there and stare at you with this pathetic look on his face as you give him a bath. All while not mauling your face off.
