Good morning? Yesterday afternoon there were flowers blooming in my garden, this morning I wake up to three inches of snow with another nine inches expecting to fall during the day. I am not amused.

On a positive note, the Red Sox are playing tonight.

This does not make the snow issue any better.

I hate to admit it, but I can be fooled pretty easily, too. Thankfully there are only 2 preschool classes in the building today, so only 4 teachers and the director from hell. I hope no one plays any jokes on me. I am just ready for this day to be over already.

I am waiting to throw some laundry in the dryer and then I am off to work.

Fishy - have you ever been down here for the Master's? I know you love to golf and just figured you would enjoy coming down here sometime. From what I understand, the practice rounds tickets are open to the public, but in order to get tickets to the actual tournament, you have to be really affluent in the community or related to Robert Jones himself or something.

Good Morning! I am so happy its Friday!! But not happy with the snow/slush/mess we woke up to this morning!

Stacks- I cook the corned beef in the crock pot all day just in the water and seasoning packet, I make a paste of brown sugar and spicy brown mustard and then pull the beef out of the water and put it in a baking dish and put the glaze all over it. Bake for 15-20 min @ 350 until its a nice bubbly glaze. Its super tasty, the sweet with the salt.

My uncle brought my 3 cousins to the masters last year, I think. I don't really know what his connections are though. I know they were tickets to the tournament, and my uncle is super obsessed with golf, so who knows.

Stacks- The best way to make corned beef is to boil it, with some potatoes, onions, carrots, turnip, and cabbage. The only seasonings I use are the veggies and the seasoning packet that comes with it. Corned beef is quite yummy all on its own. I take whatever corned beef is left over and turn it into hash for breakfast the next day.

Morning. So far today is better than the past two days, so that's something at least!

Tomorrow H is going to be gone most of the day at Lollapalooza - it's the first time they're doing it oustide the US, and for some reason they're doing it in Chile. Random but cool. So I'll do my own thing, which I'm perfectly happy with, and on Sunday we're going with his parents to a wine harvest festival about an hour from our house. It'll be the third year we've been, and I'm excited.

I thought about going down to the fireworks tomorrow, but Southeast? At night? In the cold? Meh. I'll wait for the Alexandria festival in July- that's way better.

My boss is a real prankster, I'm sure she has something up her sleeve today. "Fun."

Last night I was out with a work function and I took a gulp of what I thought was my ginger ale and it was actually someone's Jim Beam and Coke. Aint gonna lie, that was tasty.

Thanks, Manda! Truth be told, I am just so fed up with the whole thing. With any luck, today and tomorrow will be our last days of painting. H is off today, and he's over there now getting some work done. We only need one more coat on the wainscoting, and one more in the bedroom. And then we can start moving.

ME TOO! WTF was with the singing? Seriously? The story line was good without the singing. It made me laugh intsead of cry though, so that's a bonus. Although I still may have cried when Mer was sad about not being able to get KU.

It is sunny here again... YAY! Finally in plus weather! Hopefully the snow melts. The dogs went swimming yesterday in the still frozen lake. We have an agitator on the dock so the ice doesn't wreck it... and Veyda tried to chase a duck, realized it was really cold and then came flying out of the water and crazy ran all over the yard trying to warm up. I swear that dog can go 100 mph. She's nuts.

I'm so happy it is Friday, like Woah.

Oh ya, and on a side note, there was a golf cart hanging from the side of the high school this morning on my way to work.
