Do you all mind sharing what is included in your services (i.e. run through of vendors, etc one month out from wedding, day of services - setup, during, takedown?, etc.).
@Soon2BSand - I am in the DC area too. I haven't started to look for my DOC but do you mind sharing the info on your DOC? I will also send you a PM if you prefer if you decide to share.

She's doing everything else I'm not able to do I wasn't planning on booking one. But decided last month that I really should get one. She offers a whole lot more but I had already done most of the work. I just wanted someone to keep us on time and make things run smooth. But the main things she's doing
I would like to thank yall for this information. I was looking for someone to help wth whatever the lady at my venue wont do. I now know the questions that need to be asked. YALL ARE WONDERFUL

Mine includes everything from handling vendors to coordinating the rehearsal and ceremony. Being that I'm an OOT bride I HAD to have someone in town handle all the arrangements/meetings/etc because I wasn't about to fly back and forth to do these things.

I'm paying 350 she's doing set up overseeing the vendors etc and will package everything up at the end of the night and give it to someone. timelines etc.
We had our first meeting at the reception along with the event manager. She is amazing. She asked all kinds of questions that I would have never thought to ask.
She officially starts working 2 weeks before the wedding and is the DOC.
She is responsible for
- making sure the vendors are set-up and take down - creating a timeline - organizing the rehearsal - make sure gifts are collected and placed in my friend's car - Will assist my MOH bustle my dress if needed -communicates with the DJ and Band to make sure they are playing the correct music at the right times - Basically making sure everything runs smoothly
