People just need to leave well enough alone.
What I find interesting though is that many of TK users were saying "TK or Bust" for them. I wonder if we would have the same drop on this site.
Granted, I was never a really big TN person, but I don't think the changes are that bad. What am I missing?

Hahaha that's what it was! I was so disappointed that I read Faith's OP, rolled my eyes, and left TN for the week. By the time I came back Linds had deleted the thread and publically chastized everyone, and all the fun was over.

I didn't mind her on TK but she wasn't nearly as power-hungry as she was on TN. Honestly my motivation for leaving there was both Linds' power-crazy wrist-slapping and all the KU ladies turning the thread into an offshoot of TB. If I want to read 90 baby threads I'll go to TB.

This was a huge misconception, tbh. Yes, it could link it, but only if you were also logged into fb. It was no different than any other website that has the fb 'like' button.
If I 'liked' it on TB, no one else's personal information was being shared. It was no different than me copying the url and pasting it on fb.
MASSIVE overreaction ensued, though, and people just didn't 'get' it.

It was incredibly stupid. This one girl (Faith) started a thread to bitch about how selfish her H was for not making her lasagna when she was craving it (she was about 8 months pregnant). I rolled my eyes and left at that point, because really? And I missed the rest of it. But apparently some other posters called her out on it, Faith flipped out and said something like "Would you tell a mother who had a miscarriage that she shouldn't bitch about it?" and people gave her hell for equating not getting lasgana with having a miscarriage. Linds took it upon herself to ask to become mod, deleted the thread, and chastised everyone for giving Faith a hard time and chasing her off the boards.

Yeah, that's even worse.
And just a little tidbit to add to the story, one of our fellow posters had just delivered a stillborn baby at 39 weeks. It was just awful. For Faith to equate the two, ESPECIALLY after that had happened, was vile.
