The 'study' is apparently approved, if the pick people up who are already doped up. So, 'hey, let us observe you, and we won't arrest you." But these cops are GIVING the drugs to the people, and then buying them dinner too. No EMTs on site, no waivers, nada.

That's a really cool idea. Vacations like that are the best. When FI and I went to Puerto Rico we were positive we had gained a ton of weight because we ate and drank so much. Came back and we had both lost weight from the constant walking/swimming we did.

I lied. Keep watching after 25:00, they catch back up with the people after they're sober. They are remembering everything, and explaining clearly. Quite a contrast to right after the people recording talk to them after they get dropped off, stoned.

Sooooo next week is emergency preparedness week, so on saturday im driving out to this candle supply store I found, buying a ton of soy wax and wicks, and making these:

Im using smaller canning jars though, 4oz approximately. Im so excited.

I'm watching Swamp People, then TBBT, then Greys, then Scandal... and working. Daycare decided to close tomorrow so I have a sitter coming for a couple hours, but other than that I'm on my own and I can't work and pay attention to teh kiddo at teh same time.

And I'm getting excited about our trip to New Orleans next weekend.

I'm here.

I took a long-ass nap after I got home from work (and after I posted in the "I judge" thread). My boss has me working both days and nights right now because I'm training people. My biological clock is all screwed up, so by the time I'm off in the afternoons on the days I'm training, I'm exhausted. I worked a double one of those days last week and it about killed me.

FI and I are gonna try and go see The Avengers tonight because we won't be able to this weekend because we will be on our Marriage Prep Retreat all weekend. I think I'm gonna head to a bar down the street to get something to eat and visit with one of my friends from work at her other job (she's a bartender) while I wait for FI to get home from work.

Is the soy wax pretty cheap if you buy it in bulk, nebb? Soy candles are so expensive usually.

The store I am going to sells 1lb bags for 3-4$, apparently 1lb makes 24oz worth of candles (in jars), soooo I dont think thats too bad. Im going to need 2lbs of wax to fill the jars I currently have.

hmmm and it looks like a 5lb bag is 13-15$, so I might go with that, cause taht is a better deal.

Another cause of all the drama - MOH's mom saw a photo of MOH in the original dress. She laughed and made a comment about how the girl looked fat in the dress (not realizing it was her daughter). Oops. No way to recover from that one...

Oh dont go to michaels, theyll rip you off. I am going to a local candle supply store, all they sell is candle stuff. It comes in bags and the wax is in flakes.

I haven't done much today. I talked to a PODS rep who was an idiot, and now I'm playing phone tag with my mom trying to figure out plane tickets to Chicago (family reunion) so we get there around the same time and can share a rental car. It is becoming very complicated very quickly since we won't be flying out of the same state like usual.
