It's 530 am and FI is already being a jacknut. He won't get home from work till around 2 either, so by that time I won't feel like going off on him anymore. It's gonna be a long flipping day.
Other than that, have church with the FIL's this morning. Then need to come do the yardwork and finally bathe the dogs. Probably save the baths for FI though since he wanted to be a butt.

We have his daughter and 10 month old nephew tonight as well. I can't wait to play with them!

[QUOTE]Morning. Hanging outi in Dallas. Everyone else is snoring away, so I thought I would hop on TK. Last night we met up with so of our friend's friends. I was by far the oldest. One girl (gf of the friends friend) was boohooing because she is *almost* 25 (turns it in the fall) and she is not married or pregnant yet. Like she is so upset about that fact she is planning a kick-ass party to help her get over it. She began to tell me she has to moving things along because she is getting old and her BF is 35 and no one in his family makes it out of their 60's. If she keeps worrying about the future she is going to miss the present. On DH's job hunt. He is Phoenix first choice. They have one more tasting, but it appears this guy really has to blow away DH to get the job. While at dinner with the GM the first night the GM mentioned he liked pizza. The next day DH made pizza as part of his tasting. Now they have no dough, no sauce, no screen , no paddle or most importuning no pizza oven. DH had to get creative. They were impressed at his creativity. I guess the other chef never left the office. **. Note on iPad sorry for typos.

That's great! I have missed a lot the last few days. What happened in NOLA? Did he pass on that one?
I'm doing Team in Training for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!
[QUOTE]Morning!!! So H and I are planning to go help build a "wall of love" around a marine's funeral today that the Westboro Baptist Church is coming to protest. The church has asked that people come and just encircle the parking lot so the WBC folk can't get too close to the family. I feel like it's a pretty good use of a Saturday. Anyone wanna help me come up with a funny sign?

I would love to go be part of the wall. I'm now in thought process for a funny sign. :)
H and I woke up to the phone ringing. A friend of his from work wants to know if we want to go shooting in a bit with him. I really want to go, but also wanted to sleep in more.
And I am not sure if it is a cold coming on (summer colds are the worst) or allergies & congestion b/c now I have this annoying cough. At least I don't have a lot to do this week except wash my car and start packing this place up.
Lynda - good luck to your H! Have fun in Arizona. It seems like there has been all sorts of good job news around here recently. I just wish some of it could move my husband's way.
LDY- THANK YOU for doing that. While the family will probably not say anything, I am sure it means a lot to them to bury their son/brother in peace. You're my hero for the day.
Were are not doing too much today. This afternoon we are going to prepare dinners to keep in our freezer. I don't like to cook, but if they are already prepared, I can do that.
KJB, I must've missed something. What is going on wiht your H's job?
No big plans here today. Going to a two year old's birthday party tomorrow though.
LDY - I agree with everyone that it's awesome what you're doing today! Good luck!
[QUOTE]When H and I were downtown last night, we saw a whole bunch of kids dressed up for Prom. It is weird to me that Prom is this early. I don't remember mine being until early May. But of course schools in the north get out later than they do in the south.

It depends where in the south. Here in VA they don't start until after labor day so they go until the third week of June. We used to start the third week in August and were out the 2nd week of June. That was in Cleveland.
Charleston starts like the first week of August and are done by Memorial Day. I think Texas is the same.
Our prom wasn't until after the seniors were done with class. The seniors would have finals a weeks before the rest of the classes, and that Friday or Saturday night was Prom, then we all went to Cedar Point the next day. Senior Breakfast was the next Tuesday followed by the senior awards ceremony, then practice for graduation was the following day, and graduation the next.
