I don't think so, either.
How incredibly frustrating to be doubted like that in the first place - and to be driven to give the people what they want, only to have them still not believe it?
It would have to be all the self-control in the universe that would keep me from throwing up my hands and waving my "fuckyou!" finger to everyone. Seriously.
Rhon, I actually saw the Australian PM speak a month or two ago and her accent is something else.
And I am American and still think it would be kind of awesome to see a politician tell everyone to eff off. Maybe Obama will after the election when he doesn't have anything to lose.
I would not vote for Trump solely because I think he's actually not that great of a business man. He's more of a gambler; he's had businesses grow large and businesses go bankrupt. He has nearly been, or maybe even has been, bankrupt personally one or more times. A gambler is not a good fit for the leader of the country. If there were a younger Rupert Murdoch available, that's more my style; an businessman who would come in and possibly make some very unpopular changes to keep the ship from sinking in its own debt.
But anyway, one thing some of the posts made me think about is that it annoys me when someone gets labeled a flip flopper or whatever the buzz word of the day is because they changed their opinion on something versus what they felt previously. Human nature is to change opinions at times; people change, people have life changing experiences. I'm not talking about Trump because I don't believe he's honest in most things he says, but, if someone who is trustworthy tells potential voters what they believe in and would want to do at that moment in time, I could care less if they used to believe the opposite because I'm electing them to represent my views, not based on whether they've always had my views.
Hell, I'm even cool with hypocrites if they stay true to why I voted for them. For example, Newt Gingrich, I think he's a POS as a person because he preaches family values, etc. but then does things like divorce his wife while she's recovering in the hospital from cancer treatment. BUT, if I was a pro-lifer for example, I would still vote for him because while I know he may not practice what he preaches, he at least stays true to his constituents wishes.

Nah, they can't do that because post-office is memoir time. Gotta make that money.
I think Newt Gingrich should be disqualified based on the statement he made a few weeks ago that we're heading down a road to becoming an atheist country dominated by radical Islamists.

Anytime I've ever watched CNN, it always seems like they try really hard to make a show of being impartial, so they invite an equal number of bubble-headed pundits on each side of an issue, and all of the bubble-heads spew their previously determined talking points, and there is no real dialogue or understanding between the two sides, and then the show is over. And then Anna Nicole Smith dies and they cover that for 547325 hours.
Trump's a joke. If this country elects him, I think we will lose all international credibility. I'm crossing my fingers for Romney for the Republican nomination. In my perfect world, though, McCain would have had the nomination in 2000, and Tom Colburn would run for 2012.
