crf, I'm a knuckle cracker too. I've found that if I keep something in my hands to fiddle with (that's what he said), it helps. Paper clips and pens work best for me at the office.

Suicidal fish = ick!

I have the opposite problem: My son has a goldfish that has lived for close to five years now. Dang thing just won't die.

it is so freakin' hot and humid today. Even in the gym with A/C, it was hideous. They have a heat advisory thru Thursday here. That ought to be cozy for the 4th of July parade.

Angel, I hope your e-pics turn out amazing. Is it crazy hot there today?

I had that problem when I was younger.
My mom bought me two goldfish because she thought it'd be a good experience..and you know..goldfish don't live that long.
We got them when I was 5. They finally died between the time when I was 12 and 13. <div>

Willy, it is pretty hot, although I'm currently laying out to try to even out tan lines and I'm not sweating to death, so I guess it's not too bad. I love my job, I laid out here all summer last year while K napped.

Speaking of hair, I straightened mine for the first time in 3 weeks and it looks so nice and healthy. I'm so glad it's a good hair day. I'm also pretty vain about my hair.... annndddd pretty much everything else.

Edie, I didn't even think to get my PT a thank you card. I know it's her job and all, but she did really help me with my shoulder. Now I feel bad.

I did it for the month of April.. I may have gone a week or two more, but my insurance was up as of May 1st and I didn't want to pay out of pocket. My right shoulder is totally better and my left one only acts up every once in awhile. I'm so happy, I was afraid I would need surgery.

I didn't think I cared that much about my hair until I paid $55 to have someone cut my hair wrong at a Wal-Mart on our HM. Now I can hardly wait until next week-ish when I can go back to my regular stylist (whom I haven't seen for at least 10 months) to get it fixed and pay about half of that.

I have about 1/4 in roots right now and it irks me. I got my hair done 4 weeks ago for what was supposed to be my engagement pics and then they got rained out so now I have 4 weeks of growth. Hopefully it's not too noticable.

I was so desperate to cut my hair off before our honeymoon that I did the same thing -- went to someone I wasn't familiar with. He gave me a really edgy reverse-bob...which looked great, until I showered and realized that it was definitely not wash-and-wear. I looked like an ass for about six months until someone cut it right.

I'm getting married on a Friday and hopefully leaving for my honeymoon that Sunday... you can bet I'll have a hair appointment for Saturday to get it cut before we leave. I anticipate it being at least 2 or 3 inches longer than I like it.

Bay, mine is a "close but no cigar" type situation. My hair is really thick but my style kind of requires the thickness, as I learned from a previous encounter of thinning it out. I mentioned not to thin it out to the hairdresser because of this and I think she misunderstood me and thinned it out. She also didn't cut the back the same length as the front yet somehow it looked fine there. It's hair though and it grows back. All good.

I got a horrifying hair cut maybe... six years ago? Thebitch cut my hair crooked by like 4 or 5 inches. I only go to one person to cut my hair and she lives in my hometown which usually results in like, two hair cuts a year.

But my hair is long and gnarly and I don't care.

But I'm with ERRGEHLS. Roots? Fuckthat. Plus I have grey hairs all over the place.

I haven't dyed my hair since July 2009. For some stupid reason, I lightened it to like this honey color. Took FOREVER to grow out completely. Forever as in three months after our wedding in November 2010. I was thrilled to see that crap go away.

I'm really pleased that my last highlights are fading so well into my natural color I can't even tell. My hair is a PIA right now. It's growing to almost sitting on my shoulders and it's just doing crazy things. I'm in pony tail mode until it's touching my shoulders.

Same. It was about 2 years ago. I actually didn't notice it was so off because it's curly. But, my friend was straightening my hair before a wedding and asked if I had cut my hair myself. When I looked in the mirror, it seriously looked like I had taken two pairs of scissors, one in each hand, and tried to make them meet in the middle while cutting. Yeah, I ended up running to the salon before the wedding to get it fixed. They ended up having to cut it way super short to fix it. That sucked to grow out. I look like a freakin' poodle with very short hair.
