I just found out that I have a bachlorette party to go to on the 29th and it's cocktail dresses required. I'm trying to shop for them but I'm having a really hard time spending $100 on a dress I'll probably only wear once.

She was molested by the step grandpa once but she had been molested by a family friend prior to that and that case never went to trial because the guy plead guilty.

Ya it is a bit overkill. It'll be fun, but I will never wear this dress again. I rarely wear dresses and with losing weight, things are only fitting for a month or two at a time right now.

Ball joints suck, Sesh. Ford talked me into replacing them when I didin't need to. It was freaking expensive. Now the ones they replaced squeak like hell, but the truck doesn't get driven enough anymore to put money into it right now.

It has also been almost 8 years since the act occured. She is now 18. She only told her mom about it because her mom said that sexual assault was the reason she was a drug addict. The girl came back with I was sexually assaulted and I don't do drugs so that is not a good excuse. Her mom then told her sexual assault therapist who told her that she (the mom) had 1 week to report it or she (sexual assault therapist) would have to report it.

adamar, i know mine need to be replaced. but my stepbrother is going to do everything and he has high-end parts, and i can trust he wont try to screw me over.

still, money will be tight. at least I get paid on friday and we should get our christmas bonus in the next couple weeks, so as long as I watch my spending i'll be fine. money is always tight in december.

Barrel, that's exciting about losing the 60 lbs! But annoying in the clothing dept especially if you're still in the process of losing more. I've been fluctuating a lot in the last two years, within a small range but enough that I have to have clothes for my smaller and larger sizes. It's a pain. Ditto jal, I get great dresses at Macy's for reasonable prices. You should also check out Loft for their "Loft Loves Teachers" discount. It's helped me get a lot of wonderful clothes I couldn't normally afford that will last me for ages.

Thanks for the heads up on Loft. I didn't know that they had a teacher discount... I'll have to check that out!
I guess that means that I have to brave the mall this weekend. That's a terrifying thought.

<div>Ha, I'm more of an online gal lately :) It is easier to do the teachers thing in person though because they'll ask for some proof that you teach. Like a school ID or recent paystubs.</div>
